I walked along the barren streets On a night cold and black A jumble of jubilant laughs hit my ears Turning my attention to an old abandoned shack.
My curiosity got the best of me Drawing me towards the rickety shack. I followed the sounds around for a while Till it drew me ‘round to the back
A youthful group of guys and gals Were having a grand ol’ time And in the pavement surrounded by bottles of liquor Was a prize, in my eyes, divine.
An abandoned little Rag Doll Left alone, torn and tattered. Dirt coated her dress and hair And a confetti of ribbon lie around her, scattered
I gathered up the Rag Doll I held her close to me Then I proceeded to shuffle through the drunks Difficulty increased, for in darkness I could not see.
Finally I had reached the door Made one quick, failed attempt to look around Then slowly I started to walk Led by an entrancing sound
The sound was a mesmerizing song That brought me to a door And when I turned the knob I dropped my Rag Doll to the floor.
A ballroom of tremendous size surrounded me The was it fit into this shack, I do not know how The blood red walls glowed in the chandelier’s light And the magic began only just now.
For as I was staring at the room in awe My attention was suddenly drawn to my side Where (to my amazement, of course) My doll was walking toward me in strides
But she was my little Rag Doll no more, A very youthful lady now stood before me. Maybe I should have been frightened by this, But her beauty was all I could see
There were rows of stitches along her cheek and her arms But still her skin seemed to me flawless, porcelain white A large bow drooped on her flowing chestnut hair And, despite all her black make up; those aqua eyes said she was mine this night
Her dress seemed almost unreal Frill, ribbons, and bows everywhere A beautiful baby-doll gown Black as the bow in her hair
My Rag Doll slightly smiled And offered me her hand I then remembered the music And only then did I understand
I took her hand and pulled her close Determined to take the lead in this dance And as our bodies began to move in tune We began our night time romance
I was surprised at how graceful I moved With her in my arms She seemed to move just as I wished her to One of my Rag Doll’s many charms.
After a few minutes I remember thinking, ‘What dance is this that we undergo?’ Exactly on cue my Doll kissed my lips and whispered “It’s the Sex Tango…”
Our feet stopped moving. Our lips came together. And at that moment I wished it would all last forever
With each moment that passed Our passion grew stronger And when her lips drew away I only wish it had been longer
Our separation was short I was so glad that small parting was over Hours passed by to quickly And son we were lovers
I fell asleep with her in my arms Convinced that with me she would stay But when I awoke this was not the case My Rag Doll was there…but my lover had long since gone away
I still have that doll and every night I hope That she’ll come to life again so we may go And dance our sensual dance Known to us as the Sex Tango
