Aurrie's Nook of Notes
Heheh, I'm bored... And I probably won't keep up with this much, but still. I might work on my Shakespeare class work here! Perhaps there will be other tidbits and oddends here as well! We'll see!
There you'll sample Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies
Savory and sweet pies, as you'll see.

You, who eat pies, Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies conjure up a treat pies used to be...

Yech...

Human pies, sounds delicious, doesn't it?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyways, yes, it was Aurrie's birthday this past week. Things are still not going all too great.
First off, I am still incredibly unhappy about my little Ki-Ki. I left her cage alone for the longest time because I couldn't bear to touch it, but I finally forced myself to take it down. - I would bump into it when I would try and get into my closet and then apologize exessively out of habit, only to realize that I am apologizing to an empty cage-
Now the section of wall betwix my two closets is incredibly bear and forbidding. It is better than having to look at Kiwi's cage, yet just as depressing. Finding her feathers about and seeing the holes she chewed in so many of my shirts isn't helping, either...
Then there is the ENEMY. The ENEMY started in my sister's room. Not The Demon, but the other one's. The infiltrated her room and began to rummage through her things. The bug people came and sprayed the whole house, save for my room because of Vlad and the Hammies ( Sounds like an odd band name, eh? ). Due to that, my room is the only safe haven in the house so every ******** insect is heading to my room.
The ENEMY is, of course, FIRE ANTS. I put it in all caps because I hate them. They deserve their smushed fate. I make the vacuum eat them... Then I smush the survivors with my fingers! HAH!
No... It is miserable. I hate THE ENEMY to begin with, but now they have taken over my room. I can't even sleep in there anymore, they climb into my bed and sting me at night, leaving painful welts and loads of itchy-esque itchyness. I say sting because they have stingers and don't bite... Well, they do bite, but that isn't the painful part. They bite to hold onto your skin, then jam their stinger buts onto you. THey are more like a wasp than anything, really...
And no one ever believes me when I say that, but I saw it on the Discovery Channel before. O_o
So, anyways, THE ENEMY has started using TANKS. Their TANKS being cockroaches.
Since they sprayed a second time, all the surviving cockroaches have been going into my room, running on my things, and flying. The babies I can handle myself, I squish them with my shoe ... Or whatever else is handy. I killed one with the phone last night.
The giant TANKS are the ones that scare me ... You know ... The ones the size of your middle finger that come out of the pine trees and scuttle and fly and are extremely gross? You know,s ometimes they are even bigger than that? Those are the ones that make me yelp and make my heart race. I saw one of those not long ago, too. The babies, I don't like them but I'll kill them. The giants, they make me run and hide.
So, apart from losing my baby and battling THE ENEMY, The Demon has been hell. All she does is make unsightly messes and scream at you.
Ah, ad so some of you know, my birthday was on Wednesday. It was somewhat pleasant. Started the day off getting my lazer hair removal treatment on my face at eight in the morning... Quite painful...
Then we went to a certain petstore other than the one I work at, I shan't mention the name. They had Crown-Tail betta, which we don't carry at my place of work. I bought a beautiful red-blackish one with green on top. He is lovely, with spiny fins. I lurve him. I named him Smexy and he sits next to Spiffy so they can flare at eachother and be friends. I bought him and a tank, a birthday prezzie to myself. Tarin said I should buy a fish to cheer myself up over Ki. It helped a little bit, but didn't make everything better. He is pretty, though...
Then we, Joe and I, went home and I cleaned out the new tank and put Smexy in it.
Then we left for the mall. We picked up Katie and Sosie, all in all it was a good time. I bought a purdy Disney blanket at the Disney store. It was soft and flurffy and on sale, what's more to love? Mm, and I got my prezzie from Sosie 'n Katie. Sosie gave Aurrie FFXII and Katie gave Aurrie a gift of pain. Another piercing.
I got my cartilage pierced on my left ear. A nice little white gold stud. I'm going to get one of those little hoops for it later.
After the mall, Joe and I went back to my house about six or so and I had dinner with my family. Mom made homemade calzones. I lurve calzones... And hs made me a cake with fish candies on it. Yummeh!
I got some purdy earrings from Mom and a lurvely water resistant watch, too!
Yesterday, Saturday, we went to th eAquarium in New Orleans. The Demon was miserable and made everyone else miserable, but I lost myself in the purdy fish. I could name a whoel bunch of the freshwater fishies. We say Fatties! I lurve Fatties... They are really called Redtail Catfish, but we had one at work, a baby, that we would handfeed. He would eat and eat and his belly would buldge... So we called him Fatty. Anyways, they had full grown Fatties. All we ever have at work are baby Fatties. I think they could fit my head in thier mouths, they were so big. You could kill someone if you through one at that someone's head! O_O
The jellies were pretty...
BUT I GOT TO SEE THE SEA OTTERS!
Otters are my favorite animals. -pets Jukka-
I got to see Jukka's cousins of the sea, and they were just as adorable as I imagined they would be. Joe and I went to the exhibit and waited around until feeding time! IT WAS THE BESTEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN A UBER LONG TIME! I GOT TO SEE THE SEA OTTERS! -dies-
I bought a sign that says Sea Otter Crossing. It's cute! Imma hang it on the wall where Ki's cage was. I got a little SO fluffy, too. It's little, so it will be my other SO Fluffy's baby. ^^ Oh, and I got a pack of regular playing cards, they have otters on the back.
After the Aquarium we trecked through the French Quarter and went to Bubba Gump's for dinner. It was yummy, but incredibly hot that day, so I couldn't eat much of my burger. Joe had the Shrimp Ettoufe and loved it. Too bad I don't like shrimp!
Then we went to the French Market and wandered around. Then we drove to the Westbank to see where I lived as a baby. We had a crummy apartment out there in cracksville, apparently. It was bad.
Mom said her first night alone there she heard a gunshot, so she called the police. The lady who answered her 911 call told her not to worry, it was only the Vietnamese. O_O
Lovely place, apparently. It was where the other sister was born, not The Demon.
And The Demon bitched the entire time, ruining the trip for everyone.
Well, I gotta run. I have to go to work soon, so I'll have to cease all of my rambling on about things.
Joe's birthday is today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOE!
And we go to the Exploreum on Wednesday with my grandma and my little cousin.
YAY!
Gotta run!
