Holiday Surrender
"Oooumpf!" Draco was laying face down in the freshly fallen snow. "Maybe I threw that last one a little too hard." Sara giggled. Dee,Draco,Sara,Fred,George,Sophie,Neville,Harry,Ron,Hermione and Ginny were having a snow ball fight. The Christmas Holidays were just starting. It was two days untill the end of the term. "Don't you think its a little odd Hagrid let only us skip out on class?" said Neville once the snow balls had stopped flying. "Yeah, he even got us out of Transfiguration." said George. "Oh, its just a little something I arranged." Harry said smuggly. "WOW, thanks harry!" gaped Ginny. "Why did you get me out, Potter?" Draco said bitterly. "FOR SARA OF CORSE!!" Dee butted in. Sara's face flushed a light pink. "umm....I say its about time to 'take a walk', how bout you Dee?" said Fred with a grin. Dee jumped up, took fred's hand and race towards the woods. "tsk tsk tsk" Sophie said with a look of a disgust on her face.
"horny aren't they?" George said with a sigh. "I'm going to go work out some bugs on our latest invention, they are surprise howlers, they look like regular letters." He said as he got up. Sophie yawned. "That snow ball fight was pretty tirering, lets head back to the castle." "What about the ice skating?" Sara whined. "I didn't say that you had to come with me." She said with a wink. Sara was to confused as to why everyone was leaving, they still had plenty of time till dinner. But Draco was getting the message. Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione and Neville followed Sophie back towards the castle, leaving Sara and Draco alone. Sara and Draco had only been an official couple for a few weeks and lets just say they weren't exactly "physical". Its not that Sara didn't want to snog, it was just she was too shy to say anything about it. Draco's self-control was running low. You know how boys are. They had kissed but not 'snogged'. "sooooooo....where do you want to go now?" Sara asked in a completely inoccent tone. This was killing Draco. Her being naive and inoccent only made her cuter in his eyes. (i'm trying to get my message across without being a total pervert, thank you very much.) Draco was searching his mind for a quiet and private place to make his move. "ummm....how about Hagrid's pumpkin patch?" Draco said. 'Hagrid should be teaching a class right now, and since the first snow came early this year there still should be some pumpkins left(for some privacy)' "sounds good" Sara said with a smile. "Off we go then" Draco said as he stood up. He gave his hand to Sara to help her up. With certain people he could be quite the gentleman. They intertwined arms and set a comfortable pace towards Hagrid's hut. Even though it was freezing out Draco began to sweat, snogging was different than kissing, he knew he was a good snogger but how would Sara react. As they reached Hagrid's hut they turned around back to the pumpkin patches. (i know they are supposed to be in teh front of his house but whatever, its MY story) Draco did a quick scan of the surrounding area, checking in Hagrid's house to see if he was home. Thankfully it seemed like they were the only people around for miles. Sara sighed as she sat down on a snow covered pumpkin. "I love it here, its SO much better than being cooped up at home." She was obviously referring to Hogwarts. "You know there is a thing called 'going outside', your allowed to leave your house." Draco said beginning to relax again. "Well, unlike SOME of us, I have to work during the summer, brooms remember?" She said with a hint of sass in her words. "Well, maybe you could visit me this summer." Draco said turning away to hide his blush. "really?" Sara asked hopefully. Sara loved seeing her parents but it seemed like every summer was the same, even though when the end of summer approached she was often allowed to go the Burrow. Her parents were very protective of her. She was their only girl. "Yeah, if its alright with father." Draco said with a tint of fear in his voice. Draco hated having to ask his father for things. Sara sighed again. " could things get any better?" Asking this question to no one in particular. "yes they can" Draco said as he leaned in for the kill. Sara was startled at first but then relaxed and snogged back. They stayed there doing this, trying different positions. (that sounded REALLY dirty) The only thing that made them stop was the out-of-place sound of muffled laughter. Draco pulled and looked around. Apparently Hagrid had dismissed his class and a group of 5th years were staring at them laughing. "I think we better go now." Sara mumbled. They both dashed up the the castle. Draco was throwing random hexes over his shoulder but none of them hit.
Later......
Sara walked into the girl's dorm feeling light and feathery, like she now had the abiblity to walk on water. She was in a state of complete bliss.
"hey" She said dreamily as she passed Sophie and Dee sitting on their beds.
"......" Sophie began to laugh.
"Something you wanna tell us, skank?" Dee questioned. Smirking like mad.
"oh, yeah, sorry, DRACO SNOGGED ME!!!" Sara screamed.
"yeah, we know" said Sophie overcoming her laughter.
"And so does everyone else in the entire wizarding world" Dee said with a laugh.
