OK, before it was kingdom hearts. I had to stop because I don't know the full storyline yet, and not a lot of people in my friendslist like KH anyway. so, let's move on!
My next favorite game is Legend of Zelda.
there are a lot of versions in Legend of Zelda, being Twilight Princess the newest (it's released in nintendo wii, if i'm not mistaken). i've so far only played 3, and thus I only have a gameboy. sweatdrop
first, is Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages..
The story is somewhat like this:
Link is a warrior that was sent to protect Princess Zelda. he finished that quest, and they brought him to a sacred tomb, which had three triangular symbols in the far end. when Link approached it, they glowed! and thus, Link fainted and was transported to a land called Labrynna.
In this land, he was startled because this was a land he never knew. he searched the place, and he heard a scream. a woman was attacked by some octoroks (they look like squids with feet). when Link approached the octoroks, they ran. the woman was very thankful of him, and introduced herself. her name was Impa, the local nurse who cared for Nayru, the best singer in Labrynna. apparently this woman was lost in the forest, and trying to find Nayru. when they shook hands, Impa said "hey, you have a triangle mark on your hand! that means you must be sent here for a reason." Link just became confused (who wouldn't?).
then, they both roamed the forest, and found a triangular-shaped stone blocking the path to Impa's house. Link pushed it sideaways, and their road was clear. they walked again, and finally, they found Nayru singing beautifully in a group of people.
Link listened to the song that sang so beautifully, echoing the forest, like a bird chirping gleefully. the song still echoed through the forest even after it stopped, like time not passing by. Nayru introduced herself, and so did Ralph, Nayru's caretaker. Nayru's song continued, but then it stopped.
darkness suddenly filled the area, and all the people ran away. then, a woman with black robes flew through the area. "hmm... a hero from the triforce in Labrynna? thank you for moving the sealing stone for me! let me introduce myself. my name is Veran. I come from oblivion, where time is of essence... thus, the Oracle of Ages show her face in front of me, unguarded!" the lady said, while pointing at Nayru. of course, Link became confused. Nayru is just an ordinary singer like no other, and suddenly this crazy old woman appears out of nowhere, claming Nayru is the Oracle of Ages. in Link's confusion, Nayru suddenly said "and what do you want from me!? I do not wish to associate with you for oblivion!" Veran just said "who said I am going to ASK you? of course I will take you by force!" then, suddenly everything went dark, and Nayru's smiling face vanished; slowly, her body turned to stone. Veran carried her in her dark flying carrige, and made a portal on a highway near the forest. "well then, hero of Hyrule and Triforce, if you are brave enough... we shall meet in the past," Veran said with a cackling laugh. then slowly, she vanished in the portal, along with Nayru's posessed body.
Now, Link must undertake a quest, saving the Oracle of Ages, by travelling through the past, present, and future.
