Grains of gold
New and old
Slip through my fingers
As the glowing jewel lingers
Upon my face
In a sea of blue lace
My feet begin to walk
Through emerald stalks
For satin smooth paper
I'll write on later
In ruby blood
Of tainted love
The crystal water
Makes me hotter
As I think of the glowing jewel
That took me away from you
Greed in gold
Pyramids of old
Love of the sands
This beautiful land
My home forever more
My body upon the crystal Nile's shore
