So like, my AP art assignment - exaggerated perspective with medium of choice - was due yesterday, Monday. I left my portfolio at school on Friiiday, and couldn't finish my pastel peice over the weekend, so I was FREAKING out. Luckily, Ms Harvey let me turn it on Tuesday morning - this morning - if I gave it in before 8am.
LE POOF!
So I diiid finish my art by this morning, but I wanted to leave the background blank because the skelleton I portrayed looked better against a dark background...in this case, dark, navy blue.
I went in this morning to give it in -- proud and feeling accomplished because I finished it in one night. I was trying to find a mat board to frame my peice, and Jenn helped me for awhile until she had to go to class...I stayed in the art room and waited for Ms Harvey to get done with her meeting thingy, so I could ask her what to do because I couldn't find a mat board frame that fit my art...8:05; I'm late for class.
Ms Harvey gets done talking to her meeting people at around...8:10ish. Then I asked her for a mat board fram that would fit my peice...Oooh, the heartbreak ):
"Ms Harveeeeyyy, I finished my art, but I can't find a board for it >:"
"Oh, it doesn't matter anyway."
"...Hm?"
Ms Harvey points to my art. "It's not finished."
"Oh no, I wanted to leave that blank space there be---"
In a stern voice, shaking her head in disapproval she said, "Nope. Unacceptable." And sent me off with a woosh of her hand, knowing that I was already tearring up.

I'm getting marks off of my art that I ALREADY considered finished because I intentionally left it blank. I'm stresseddd againnn ahhhh.
I finished all my homework for both Monday AND Tuesday so I could spend time on my art Monday afternoon. I stayed up until 1am, working for about 11 hours STRAIGHT on that peice, just to get it done in time for Ms Harvey. I willingly skip through the late bell just to find a frame for my art. And actually arrive lateee to class because...I thought I was being dedicated to my art and wanted to make sure that I got it in, and got the marks my work deserved; but now I'm getting deducted, and I'm partly on bad terms with Ms Harvey now because one, I left my portfolio Friday, and two I "didn't complete my art" blahblah ;3333;

Yeahh, you're wondering why I'm getting all worked up about it because it's just art.
I'm doing art as a career, and it means alotttt to me ;O
ALSKJJJJJJ.
Thank God I've got the art retreat to Tolunis(sp?), Indonesia. A beach. BEACHHH.

I know how you probably worked really hard.
The quality of your art probably takes time and alot of effort.
I bet it looks awesome nonetheless.
If only you could show her what you wrote here. That'd make me feel so bad >w<;
