*ahem* Today's really just going to be the usual mess around on the Internet, watch TV, play a few hundred rounds of Medal of Honor: Frontline with my brother, so I have a recipe for you today...


NOCCY'S CHOCOLATE-COVERED NUTS... OF DOOM!


For this, you're going to need...

-Equipment-

Two forks
A wok
A double-boiler or a large saucepan and a metal bowl
A cookie sheet
Waxed paper
A rubber spatula

-Foodstuffs-

Some sort of nut- I prefer almonds and pecans, but you can use walnuts, peanuts, hazelnuts, cashews, you name it!

...and...

CHOCOLATE! LOTS AND LOTS OF SEMISWEET OR MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS!


Ooookay. First, you put the wok on medium-high, and put in the nuts. Stir them around a little until they're golden around the edges and smell, well, nutty! Roasting ensures that the nuts are light, crispy, and flavorful.

Now, put water in the bottom part of the double-boiler (The saucepan if you don't have one), and chocolate chipas in the top part (The bowl if you don't have a double-boiler).

While those are melting (They won't burn because the bowl will only be heated to the temperature of steam), spread waxed paper over a cookie sheet. Stir the chocolate with the rubber spatula.

Now for the fun part! One at a time, dip the roasted nuts in the chocolate, roll them around and scoop them out with one fork, then use the other fork to remove the nut from the first fork, and drop it onto the waxed paper. You can also place the nuts in piles on the paper and pour chocolate over them to make clusters. Repeat the process until all the nuts or all the chocolate is gone. Put the cookie sheets into the refrigerator and wait for the chocolate to solidify. Enjoy!
