There she was on friday night,
all the faces there were oh so bright.
While she he stood there under the beautiful dim light.

She wasn't the prettiest
or the best, but she was
as just as good as all the rest

That beautiful boy that was her crush,
she longned for him with great lust.

At midnight he went with the popular girl to dance.
She was determined to crush that girl's dream of true romance.

The girl burst out in tears and ran for the door,
but how was she to know it was a popular girl prank, and nothing more.

A bucket of blood came down on her face,
and after the prom she thought 'my life is a discrace'

She killed herself in the bathroom tub.
She shot her self with a gun called a snub.

She wrote to the beautiful boy one last little note:
I will always love you... and that is all she wrote.
