Why do we have to feel sadness?
Must all the good things end?
why cant we all live together in peace?
and have all our hearts blend.
Why do memories have to haunt us?
and cause us to be sad?
day in and day out
steadily crying and feeling mad.
Our memories wont leave when we want them to
Yet we always really want them to stay
no matter how bad the situation
we can always find a way
to be happy and laugh
but it doesnt last long
having good things end
just seems so wrong.
We tend to live in our memories and dreams
but they start to fade with time
causing nothing but hurt and sorrow
which is why we have crime
Do they have to just stay memories and dreams?
why cant we make them real?
lets bring out our happy sides
and show the world how we feel.
We want to speak out
and want to be heard
but nobody cares
so we turn our back to the world.
as we all get shuned
and treated like dirt
we try our haredst to
hide the hurt.
Now I lay here on my bed
thinking of what used to be
just visiting a place from my past
but it will always remain a memory...
