old stick, new stick, fangirls and chocolate.
So, we won our first game this season; 4-0. Defense defended, I dove after a few pretty sweet hits and offense actually scored for once.
*le gasp*
We work like a well- oiled machine, we do. And everyone says we’re the losers.
So in honor of our first victory this season, my dad offered to get me a new stick.
If I do get one (which I might this weekend) it’s not going to be that High- Tech fiberglass crap. I don’t like it. I want a wood stick, either STX, Brine, Stag, or CranBarry. Wood. Wood and nice colors.
I actually have a blue and green STX now that’s wood and wrapped in some kind of thin fiberglass- type thing.
There are some girls on my team who know my “stats” better than I do. How much playing time I have on average, what positions I play and stuff. And when they say it, they say it almost in awe. It’s cool.
And I want chocolate.
