*sigh* Another breakdown.
My cat Tiger has had serious bladder problems for some time now. We started giving him "happy pills" because he would spray when he got excited. The pills managed to keep him calm enough for him to be his sweet self, but not go peeing on everything.

Then we started getting infections and blockages in his bladder. He was sent to the vet about once, sometimes twice, a month. He would get catheterized and then sent home. However, this costs a LOT of money to routinely do. Usually around roughly $200 every visit. And we're getting really short on money due to my sister's future braces and my parents' medical bills.

So long story short, Tiger has to be put to sleep tomorrow or the day after.

This is a tremendous hit to me. We got Tiger 6 years ago along with his littermate, Drake. Tiger's an extremely sweet cat and did nothing to deserve all of these problems. He often sleeps by my feet on my bed and when he was a puny little kitten, he would wake me up in the middle of the night to lick my ears and purr and be extremely cute. And even though he's 6 now and definitely not a kitten anymore, he still has some kitten attributes. He has a baby face, a cute little pink nose, and he often looks around with a "Where am I? How did I get here? What am I doing here?" expression on his face.

And the thought of losing him is almost too much for me to bear. Tiger's been here with me for some of the hardest years of my life so far. Even after I've taken crap from people who shouldn't be treating me that way, Tiger was always there. I could just sit there and cry and he'd come over to me and rub against me. It's like we had a great connection.

And it's something I really don't feel I'm ready to lose.
