The night grows cold..
As do i...

my blood turns cold..
i do not know why..

the clouds grow dark and it starts to rain..
while you comfort me to ease my pain..

i had something to look up to..
but now its gone..

memories forgoten into the break of dawn..
why did you go? why didn't you stay?

in my time of need..
i fade to grey..

my spirit fading..
the light has gone..

devouring my heart..
what went wrong...

as i lay here.. dying..
i begin crying..

what use to be is no more..
while im here on the floor...

i begin to stand..
for who i am..

my body fading into dust..
but i do not begin to fright..

as i slowly turn...
and head for the light...
