Lost my ATM Visa card in the center console of the truck yesterday afternoon. Brian came over and took apart the truck and pulled out the card. Yay! My hero!
After work, went to grab some dinner at Charlie & Jake's - and they took my card. stressed Took it. Took it away. eek Said the bank told them to. eek
The manager checked my ID, got my phone number, and she held up the ATM card to show me that it hadn't expired - I read the number and it was an OLD ATM card. The old one that I had lost a YEAR ago, reported to the bank as being lost, and got a new replacement card. I use my cards so often that I have memorized all the numbers...and sure enough - that card she held up had the old "LOST" number on it.
Paid with cash, went home, got a call from the manager at Charlie & Jakes - they called the bank and the magnetic stripe was no longer working and I can pick up the card at any time... ::hahahaha::
We had dinner, then I went into the garage and pulled apart the center console - and BAM - there was my "new" replacement card.
Seems I have a problem with an ATM card eating S.U.V.!
