For anyone who has had a family member die, or knows someone who died an "unfair" or "untimely" death, or to anyone who has ever said "why would God allow this person to die? It isn't fair!" This is a comfort and an explanation for you.
I found this verse while browsing through my bible's bible verse finder (it helps you find verses on certain subjects). when I read the verse I realized I found a good verse for people who are greiveing the loss of someone. The verse says...Quote: The righteous pass away; the godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For the godly who die will rest in peace.
Isaiah 57:1,2
I beleived that God was protecting people by allowing them to die even before I knew there was a verse that said so. Mostly because of my dad's little sister who died....
You see, my dad grew up in a very cruel and "evil" household. My dad gave his heart to the lord and so did his baby half-sister, Baby Gail. Baby Gail's mother was a hateful, evilhearted woman who enjoyed torturing people and hated the fact that her daughter and my dad were christians. Because my dad was older and was moved out already, she couldn't do as much to him anymore, so she went after her 6 year old daughter. She attepted twice to kill Baby Gail, the first time by hanging her on a tree, and the second suficating her, which killed her. I truly beleive that Baby Gail's death was God's way of protecting her from an even worse future.
Just remenber that God truely loves us and wants to keep us safe. We don't know what will happen in our future, that is why we must have faith in God's decitions.
