Ok, so I was watching Countdown with Keith Olbermann on Friday, and apparently in some crazy-a** parallel universe where up is down and good is bad and you get the picture, Fred Thompson is seeking the Republican nomination for Prez of the USA. Now at this point, beer almost shot straight out my nose. First off, he's never been in any sort of political position before (but neither had Arnold Schwarzenegger and look where he is now). Secondly--and I'm addressing u personally now, Fred-- you played a DA on Law & Order, and your character was a total a*****e. So don't think you're gonna get any votes from L&O fans. By the time u hit the cast list, everyone was begging for Adam Schiff or even Dianne Wiest's character back. But really, who knows what will happen? Americans can be really stupid sometimes, I mean look--they voted for George W. "Retard" Bush twice! In the words of Carlos Mencia, Were ya smokin' crack?

And that's my rant on Fred Thompson running for future President of the United States. Republicans are jackasses, but I can only hope they're not stupid enough to back this ********. Now if Jerry Orbach had run for Prez while he was still alive, that might've been a different story...
