Well today went mostly as I expected. Some people said Happy Birthday. Some didn't. My dad actually read a text message over my shoulder of somebody saying happy birthday to me then remembered himself that today is supposed to be special. I dunno, I think it's at that point for me where November 9th is just another day. There's nothing special about it. Nothing special when compared to the rest of the world's days. I felt depressed all day. I tihnk it's cause my birthday is centered right before my Grandfather's birthday and Remembrance Day. My grandfather was a veteran. He died last christmas. Another holiday ruined for me. Remembrance Day is a day of reflection. A time to realize that you may not have had all that you have today. I think about it and feel regret. Regret that I have done nothing to earn this freedom that I have. And even more worse for that, I get gifts that I'm undeserving of for it. I have earned nothing and IT MAKES ME SICK!
