So first off I'd just like to say Happy Holidays. I also hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and that we all had some good things to say thanks for. I don't know about the rest of you but, I worked Black Friday.(what the day after Thanksgiving is often called) Fortunately I work evening shift so most of the crowds had thinned...tho' not by much. It was crazy and hectic that whole weekend infact.

Anyway, what I wanted to share is that in the midst of all the shopping maddness I realized that now more than ever I need to find out some gift ideas. Yeah I know what I'd like to get some of my friends and family already, but hey any suggestions would be great...oh and sadly I have to ask that you think cheap, they've been cuttin' my hours so I'm kinda broke with little hope of much relief.

Also, I know its prob'ly a little late, but if anyone wants some gift ideas for me here ya go, my wish list to Santa:

-A Wii (Hey I can dream, but I don't seriously expect someone to get me one)

-A PS2 (see DVD player, also, if you just happen to know someone selling a used one for a really cheap price let me know)

-A DVD player (This is something my dad and I both would like since we don't have cable, if you can find it for $20 or less fantastic, otherwise no worries. ^_^)

-Vacuum cleaner(I don't love to clean and neither does my dad, but we just got our aparment and could really use one)

-"The Assassin King" by Elizabeth Haydon (Never-mind I finally found it!)

-"Thousand Orcs" by R.A. Salvatore (yes I'm a super-nerd and proud of it)

-A digital camera

-Nice black gloves (cloth or leather)

-A nice warm black hat (you know to go with the gloves ^_^ or you know on its own is good too.)

-Tea kettle for the stove (no I'm not kidding, I love tea)

-Padded white socks (again not a joke, really)

-Black leather boots (round-toe, short or flat heel, size 81/2 or 9, oh or a gift card to payless or bootworld or where-ever I can find some boots like this.)

-A new black backpack (I notice I ask for a lot of black stuff *shrugs*)

-Hair Clips (Kain keeps making fun of my current ones saying I look to 80's and headbands are bad too 'cause they always slip off or make my head hurt. So someone please find me some nice clippies that are fashionable and funtionale without making my head bleed or something.)


That's it for now unless someone actually would be willing to spend the money to buy/give my dad a bed and me a desk. If anyone really wants to know what would be good for my dad aside from what I've already mentiond, he would love a new pair of black work boots (size 10 or 11 I think) He adores baseball cards, movies of all sorts, and books about useless and useful facts. Okay enough shameless plugs to potential Santas.

To my friends and family, you have my love and gratitude that you're in my life and believe it or not, you guys are often the best gift I could ask for. (Don't get me wrong, I love stuff, oh and Avatar: The Last airbender is my favorite cartoon *hint hint* xp )

*edit*If anybody knows someone who's getting rid of an old desk and its actually still usable(if its cheap enough and it matches my furniture, I'll buy it) or they know of a really good sale on a mattress for less than $100 please let me know. I still need a desk and Dad is still sleeping on the floor and as much as he says its better for his back and such, I still think he'd rather have a bed.*edit*
