"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!" 'Oh-no, not her again...' a black cat struggled with a red ribbon around his neck, while a woman came twards him with a Christmas sweater. "Look what mommy got you, Baby!" 'Damn you woman! I'm the all mighty Karrof! Lord of Hell!' the woman smiled, and started to put the sweater on. 'Gerrof me!' "There, doesn't mommy's baby look so cute!" 'Nope, but Karrof will make "mommy" wish she never crossed paths with me' the cat hissed, while the woman laughed. "Karrof, no need to be disgruntled. You knew what would happen if you disoabyed the Boss." she said in a harsh voice, turned heel, and walked out. ' "You knew what would happen if you.." blah blah blah!' the cat got out of the sweater, and ripped the ribbon to shreds, then darted out an opened window. "Karrof? KARROF!" the woman shouted in the hut behind him. 'So long, sucker!' the cat meowed and bounded forward. 'I gotta find that old witch's house and get her to put me right!'

After miles of running, Karrof heard a growl behind him. "What the-?' a wild dog jumped from behind a bush, and growled. 'A little house cat, how sweet.' 'Back off, dogface! I'm not a cat!' 'Oh, and I'm not a wolf, either!' The cat hissed, arching his back. 'Stand aside, or fell my wrath!' 'Ha! Don't make me laugh, p***y cat!' the wolf jumped forward, baring his teeth, but the next minute, he was gone. A hole in the ground started to shrink back into a solid, flat land. Karrof heard the dog's whimpers, then a yelp, and he knew the dog had met his loyal army od Demons. Karrof laughed, and continued on his walk.

It grew dark vary fast, and Karrof's paws ached. 'Man, I'm tired..That witch's house should be, there it is!' He looked up at a small hut.He ran twards it, and stratched the door 'Let me in, you old hag!' the door flew open, and a woman with straw-clored hair glared down at the cat. "Karrof! This had better be important!" sh snapped. She was leaning on a cane. Karrof didn't reply, he mearly walk into the hut. A black crow perched on a skull cawed. 'Well well, look what the window blew in...' 'Silence, Shiva!' the crow cawed again, and fell silent. "Let me guess, you came to retrieve you body, correct?" 'Yes, now give it back!' the crow sniggered silently. "I'm afraid I cannot do that, Karrof." 'Why not?' 'Because your body's been burned!' the crow said, cawing a harsh laugh. 'What!?!' 'It's true! The ashes were dumped into the river.' "Yes, Karrof, but I can make you another body." Karrof looked uncertain. 'It better not be a woman!' "It won't" 'Good, how long will it take?' "Normaly? A few weeks." 'WEEKS!' "Yes, calm down, I have some clay, so it won't take as long. Maybe two days." 'All right!' Karrof jumped with joy. 'Calm down, kitty,' Shiva the Crow said warningly 'Martha said two days, that means you having to stay here.' 'So? I'll be out in two days as a human, while you are stuck here as a crow!' Shiva cawed, and flew off the skull and up the stairs, apparently offended.

As Martha kneeded the clay, Shiva prined herself.'I can't believe how smug he acted!' "Relax, Shiva, I'll take care of him." 'How?' "You'll see." 'I hate to wait.' "And that is why you are a crow. But, I will tell you now, Karrof will regret ever angering me." 'Why are you making him a body then?' "Patience, and you will see. Very soon." Shiva nodded, and watched Marhta kneed the clay.

After two days had passed, Karrof sat on the couch, waiting for the witch to come back with the body she had made. Soon, he heard the clunk of a stick, and a heavy object. Karrof looked up, as Martha placed a clay figure clad in wizard robes in a corner. "There, Karrof, are you ready?" 'Yes!' he starred up at the figure, as Martha uttered an incantation "Cat into clay, clay into cat. I have made ou out a wizard, and a wizard is what I shall get." Karrof felt odd. He clsoed his eyes, as he felt like he was being shoved forward. When he opened his eyes, he saw a clay cat laying on the floor. He moved his fingers, and saw not clay, skin. "Martha, you old hag! You did it!" "Naturally." the witch said, smiling. Well, get going, Karrof." He nooded and left.

As he walked along a cliff, marveling his new body, he felt a tug on his leg. Looking down, he saw the clay cat, meowing. "Get off me you mangy cat!" he kicked it, and ran off, the cat running after him. He didn't know why, but Karrof felt odd. Like he was running from something he needed. He stopped, and picked up the cat. It purred in his hands. "What is wrong with you? Leave me alone!" he shook the cat, and he begam to feel like he himself was shaking. Feeling scared, he threw the cay cat into the water. It meowed, adn stried to swim onto shore, but melted. Karrof laughed harshly, but his laughter sounded muffled. He looked down, and saw his bdy melting. His eyes were soon cvered by clay. 'Damn that old hag! Damn her!' was his final thought, as he became a puddle of clay.
