It is really hot, I don't feel like doing anything but hiding in my house where there's air conditioning. Lots of stuff has happened lately, I did my plant histology midterm yesterday, I think I did okay, but there's a part I know I screwed up, the test was hard, I had trouble understanding it. I'm hoping I did okay, I thought I did terrible on the first lab test, but I did okay at 61, better then I thought anyways.

I'm going to the Pride parade tommorow downtown. Peter said he's going too, but he needs to pick up Quinton first, I'm hoping to meet him for the first time, I've only seen a picture of him. He's okay looking, Peter says he's really effeminate and even pointed out a pair of panties in the store that he said looked like a pair Quinton owned. I just shuddered at the thought of anyone in those frilly lacy thingies, no matter how hot they are...

Still need to find wrappit, I went to the Pickering Town Center last week, but they were all out, someone cleaned them out before I could buy some. I'm going to try again tommorow.

Downloaded more Naruto and been writing some fanfiction, it's been coming along, slowly. As for my art, I've actually drawn some Naruto stuff. I'm sort of experiencing a love-hate relationship with Naruto, on the one hand the characters are great, on the other hand, Naruto pisses me off and the other characters who are more interesting, don't get much air time. What's more, it's becoming like DBZ all the idiots on the bandwagon and stupid fights and dragging story. I like Shikamaru, because he uses his head to fight. Trying to make Anime Music Videos too, but Windows Moviemaker has been driving me batshit crazy, so I'll figure it out later, at worst, I can shell out for better software.

Gotta book my driving test soon, but I'll do it after I get my Vertebrate Histology tests and my fall course registration out of the way. I've planned which courses I want to take, now it's a matter of hoping I'll get them, I signed up to do a minor in Studio so I get get into those art classes, it's just a question of if I'll get them. If I get into the Marine Biology course, then I will finish in Spring 2006 and try to do TESL in the summer and then JET or some other program in Fall 2006. If I don't get the course, I was thinking of staying another year to finish the studio degree and some teaching work before trying to leave in Fall 2007.

On July 6th I have an interview at the Student Center to be a Volunteer Sexual Health Peer Advisor. I personally wonder if anyone else even signed up, I've got nothing better to do, I think I might even have fun. In any case, it'll at least let me pad up my resume with volunteer stuff and give me some 'teaching' experience.
The Anime Club is having a screening that day too, they're playing Full Metal Alchemist. Peter said he might come and watch it too, since he's got nothing to do that day, he might also bring Quinton, since he's into anime. I can't stay for the whole thing though, I need to go downtown for a free information on the TESL certification. They're having a draw for a free set of lessons too, maybe I'll get lucky and spare myself 800$, I have the cash, but I'd have to dip into my savings since I'm still without a job.
