Something bad just happened to me...
Waaahhh!! An irate parent went to the
Elementary Library this morning
and complained about why his child's
book was not stamped for renewal.
Since I was the one who returned it, the
Librarian instantly assumed that I was
responsible. She also seems to have an
undying grudge on me because I got her name
wrong once. gonk
Anyway, I had to say sorry
even if I knew that I had no fault. The possibility of
the child taking the book without my knowledge is
very high and they actually have no proof that I made
that mistake. If I did the borrower's card would have been
gone from the book and placed inside the child's card.
The Librarian was ready to blow but since she has a very bad
case of laryngitis, I was safe...for now. She gave me looks that
said,"Wait till I get my voice back." Waaaah!!
