I wish you well as I leave
Stepping out in to the world unknown
breaking free from the chains
you had casted on me
I return to my friends
tear filled eyes gleaming
as I wish you well
I wish that you can still love some one else
I never knew of some thing so hard to do
then to take that first step
away from you
But thought I know that it is the right thing to do
Well it seems that to every one it was wrong
Now you put the blame on me
for the reason you cling to so dearly
to that knife
and you say it's for me
Yet how can it be for me
why did I want
your blood, your tears
no I wanted you to be happy
with out me
for soon I'll be gone...
Holding that same knife
that you had that night
for I want you to see how it feels
to see some one you thought you loved so much
think so little of their life.
But then what would that teach you
that you should never love some one
no that is not what I wanted
No I'd never want that
This is for me
my gift to you
You need to move on
and love a new
