Now the high mountains
Stand against the giant sky
Like tall and proud trees.
Now the calm river
Whispers to the rustling wind
Like a silent child.
Now the stars shine down
Against the dark, moonless sky
Like sparkling jewels.
As the sun rises
Birds fly across the blue sea
Eager to go home.
Tonight the owls hoot
Breaking the golden silence
Settling everywhere.
As the white snow falls,
The squirrels cuddle closer
Enjoying the warmth.
As the white clouds fly
With the gaily chirping birds
The wind blows coolly.
Now the seedlings sprout
And the raindrops welcome them
As their lives begin.
As the flowers bloom
The butterflies celebrate –
Nectar is now here.
Now the strong winds blow
Destroying things everywhere
Like amok giants.
