It's Friday December 21.
That means no school for two weeks.
That means lots of baked good that are going to be thrown out in two weeks anyway.
That means everyone stressed out over nothing.
Chrismas has just become another exuse to eat and buy things we don't nessesarily need. Commercialism at it's worst. I do like the fact that it's SUPPOSED to be the one day of the year where everyone's SUPPOSED to be happy. But wouldn't it be great if Christmas wasn't the only time of the year that people were nice to each other? Would it be so hard for people to be human beings all year round? It must be considering that the most commercial holiday of the year is the only time we can be kind to one another.
I'm not saying that no one I love isn't getting something. But the difference is I made them all something, or bought them something they'd actually use more than once. So I'm going to sit back and watch everyone rush to the store to get things they don't need and sometime in the next two weeks I'm going to try to have some fun. Maybe see my boyfriend or best friend, but I'm not going to get excited over Christmas.
