Dancing Shadows
The glory of the sun, set to dusk
see the crawling shadows,unwavering dust
They come out to play, at day's end
where the stars meet the moon,
and the wolves have hands
The cresent moon is at its zenith,
the holy spirit climbs the sky
Up on the moon with her companion,
the moon embraced the castle as they flew by
Running past the forest,
two shadows pass by
Holding on to a tree,
Howled loud and high
"who am I? Creature in the dark,"
"We dance through wind and water,"
"Our footsteps leave no mark,"
Walking on white water,
Blue wind our guiding hand
We dance and dance our heart's worth,
Here and there we ran
There we sat, at dawn's reign,
on feet on grainy, soft sand
Mere shadows we were and to this day,
But we will come back again...
To sing, run and play.
