Yeah, I went to my friend's ranch this weekend. I was supposed to be there Friday to Tuesday, but, well, the b*h known as life had other plans. We went horse riding on Sunday and we'd just started when my horse bolted and galloped back to the barn. Now you all are looking at me like "why didn't you stop him?" Well, when an ex-racehorse decides he wants to gallop, there's no stopping him. Don't think I was silent, there was a conversation going on between me and the horse. "COPPER NO! STOP! COPPER - st!" Famous last word. The s*t came about when he took a sharp turn right in front of a fence. I was prepared for a dead stop. Well he went one way I went the other. There was a moment in mid-air where I was thinking to myself: "I'm screwed."* When I hit the ground, I put my arm down flat to break my fall and not hit my head. I heard and felt the crack on my arm when I hit the ground. There was a couple seconds where I was like, "now what?" Then it hurt like freaking hell. I'm gonna skip ahead of a couple painful hours to where my parents met us at the hospital. They took an x-ray and splinted my arm. God forbid I get to see the x-ray. Did I mention I'm right-handed and broke my right arm? I got a pretty blue cast the next day. It glows in the dark. biggrin I ended up breakin a bone in my arm, chipping the other bone in my arm, and displacing it. I'd say I did a mighty fine job screwing myself over.
