...Although I DID see War of the Worlds recently; and compared the two for patriocism... you know; the whole thing where they kind of do a metaphor of the aliens being the Afghanistan's and stuff; and you see how every house has an american flag on it; and the primary target being NY... etc, etc, etc...
I don't know; does that mean you HAVE to rally behind it for America; when Tom Cruise sucked for the part? X_X
Dun get me wrong, there were some killer lines in it; flashes of Spielberg directing genius and all; but I couldn't believe Tom in it XP Sorry guys...

What have I done within said time? Seen a lot of new movies, piled up at least a good two dozen new manga... Gunslinger Girl and Chrono Crusade's mangas being HUGE plusses in my book... a few small DVD's such as the Titfield Thunderbolt ::Thwaps snickerpuss in the back::
MAN, I wanna take a space for this, lol... It's a REALLY old British movie back when color was like, amazing; a story about a village who find out their railway is to shut down and they'll be modernised with bus routes; but they don't want to change; and fight to keep the railway private against sabotage, inner politics and a greedy bus company
I make it sound way more impressive than it really is, lol; and it's supposed to be a comedy really; but I like it for many things... but I guess it's time to admit...
I'm a train fan, lol...
If a movie has a train at the center of it; I'm there; the Railway Children; Polar Express; Digimon Movie 6; Titfield Thunderbolt; I LOVE trains
I think it's a kind of nostalgia; you know; they're massive, and fast and powerful; and so much more, just listening to the sound of an old steam engine roaring to life, wheels slowly squealing forward, sparks flying from the brakes being applied and everything else; I'm already weird enough lol; leave me be XD
And yush, my ideal honeymoon would be a LONG railway trip like the Orient Express or Flying Scotsman XP ::Thwaps again::

Of course, it would've been even nicer if 4th of July celebrations actually gave me a reason to be thankful for the country we live in. It's funny how I enjoyed the display, yet I still consider myself to be an anti-patriot. Not an anti-patriot in that I hate what this country is supposed to stand for, but an anti-patriot in that I hate what people (especially radical Christians) have made this place into.
On a lighter note, I just scanned a Yu-Gi-Oh pog I found in a Cheetos bag back in Macedonia. Thought it'd be interesting to look at:
You're actually getting First Casualty published?! eek Wow, I never thought you would've gotten it converted into a webcomic, let alone a real comic... You really must be a lucky girl. How didja find a RL artist and publisher?
As for art, I might find some good friends of mine from other forums to help with that. wink 'Fraid I'm nowhere near help with gold though, you're on your own with that, LOL.
