I'm back in a dark place. A cavern, if you will, of my own design. I cannot run, I cannot hide. I cannot escape. Bars on the windows, a prison cell. Flames all around, a personal hell. There is a light, dim and small. My hope, my dreams, my life, fading fast. I run towards it in place. A snail's pace. I don't know what to do, I don't know who to ask. I need help. A cry in the night, unnoticed, drowned out by sirens. Bigger problems, I'm self-centered. Care about me, feel my pain. Join me in death, pay to gain.
