Jarrod's Journal
Here's my journal, it has my views on world news, politics, religion, etc. Also maybe some poems or stories of mine.
Poem
Hey everyone, here's a poem I wrote, any comments on it are appreciated.

I hear the tremble of the ground, the howling of the wind,
It feels just like Hell on Earth, but we haven't sinned.
The storm, it fast approaches, with nothing in its way,
We lie in wait and hope that we will live another day.

BAM! It hits, and cries and screams, and shakes us to our cores,
It smashes through the windows and it rattles at the doors.
The roof is quickly blown away, debris is thrown around,
We run towards our basement doors and scurry underground.

We sit in total darkness as the storm keeps raging on,
We keep our heads down low and we pray for coming dawn.
The wind is ever blowing and the world seems to bend,
I hope that we will meet a quick and painless end.

As fast as it had started, the winds begin to die,
The sun begins to peek out and I'm glad that I'm alive.
We leave our little hiding place, and slowly go outside,
We were lucky this time, for we had almost died.

Oh, I know, the stock market crashed and caused a massive riot of angry Democrats so the military payed Ron Paul to unlock his shape-shifting powers to completely wipe out the uprising, no?

Awesome, although I could never be a poet, haha.
I couldn't rhyme if my life depended on it.

But this is really kewl, nonetheless.
