Some articles I found on Wiki regarding the emotion called "Love". I summarized them. Therefore, these two following paragraphs were written by me.

Basically, if you're in love, your sanity seems to drop. Those who are in love do actions they never would have done if they were not. Love today is simply not "tender kisses on the cheek", no, it is desire. The pure craving for the other person is exactly like hunger, thirst, and drug addiction.

Unrequited love is the most sorrowful of all loves. The person of interest has no idea of the one in love's feelings, or simply just can't return them. If the person is so dedicated to the one who doesn't care, traumatic symptoms such as depression, loss of self-esteem, and even suicide can result.

Those two paragraphs are two good reasons I hate love. If you simply choose to not love, you will not be hurt. And you will not go temporarily insane.
