It was a cold day but the air seemed strange. of course I was still a baby then so maybe I imagined it.
All I remember that day was people rushing and fussing over something and a pair of strong arms of a man lift me up many times that day, telling my stories and wonderful things like nothing was wrong.
My mother came for me when it was time to nap. After that it was night and she dressed me in my travel clothes, but I did not know where we were going
she took me to that man who was in a huge room with many people who I did not know, or at least don't remember knowing.
he came to me and huged me. I stayed with him for a while. He gave me a parting gift which (I have always been told not to show or tell anyone about by my mother)

my mother took me to a carriage and we were off and that man watched until after we were out of sight with a look of sadness in his eye.

not long after we were out of the big wall I always saw and men showed up chasing us
mother threw things
then when they couldn't see mother took me and we jumped from the wagon
she begged me not to make a sound because we were playing hide and seek (my favorite game)

we hid in a bush
we heard a big crash
and the mean men were all around us they said things.. then they went towards the noise... at that moment mother took me deepeer in the forest

I never saw those mean men again

Same goes for that nice man who was always so nice to me.
