They make me just want to cry
Although they can never be true
For I'll never be with you...

Broken and bleeding
Walking but wounded,

Alone and scared
You misjudged, my dear
For you had no fear
You came back to me
So gracefully
But my eyes were dry
No tears to cry
My heart is fixed, with no unsewn stitch
So, no friendly smile there to greet you
Just acidic words to meet you

Give me a tearful begining
and a happy ending
Let the Hello's be sad
And the Goodbye's be glad
Let the evil be gone
As you sing this song
And let alll the words be true
So my happy ending isnt with you

Taking a car ride through the rain
I can hardly bare the pain
I dont want to say goodbye again.
Is that really such a sin?
Why do you have to sit there
so silently?
Why cant we be laughing,
like it used to be?
Please, dont open your mouth tonight
Unless you want to say
it'll be alright

I wont make this mistake
This time, letting go wont be given a thought
