So something shocking happend yesterday. A 17 year old got shot and died. It was gang related. And today I heard that there was a shoot out between the 2 gangs. It really makes me stop and think about my friends. Everyone who I love. What if that happend to I or them? It would suck so bad. It's scary realizing that school is no longer a safe place to be. We have to wait until someone makes a threat or even dies to have a backpack check. It's horrible. I feel so bad for that kids family. BUT, he was in a gang. He knew that there was always going to be a chance that something like this could happen. I'm not trying to excuse his death and how horrible it was, but ya know. And this was no accident either. 30 rounds were shot at this kid. They were trying to kill him.
