Yes! Yes! Yes! I have my crown sitting on my bedside table! It was found on the beach of the Isle this morning, and Gambino sent Edmund to give it to me. He's taking me back to the Isle soon...
Of course, there's some risk, but things should work out. Edmund made me memorize the plans of attack the four of us (me, Gambino, Cindy, and Edmund) worked out. I have to get in thought-range of the palace, wearing my crown, then announce my presence. That should draw out the sea-people, hopefully including the now crownless usurper, who will then see me, their queen. If the usurper is there, it should be quite easy, as the contrast between us should be clear...if not, I'll have to lead those who are there against him. I hope it doesn't come to that, as it could get very messy if he still has sea-people under his control. I don't like the idea of a battle in the palace...
Of course, there is a chance I won't survive. Aside from the very slim chance that the sea-people will be too far under the usurper's control to see me as their queen even with my crown (and I could likely escape if that happened), if it comes to a battle, I have no intention of commanding from the rear. It could ruin everything if I'm not at the front, where everyone can see me...and in range of the usurper's nasty old rusty anchor. Still, what will be will be, and there's nothing I can do about that. And I'm not really afraid, just very excited. This is something glorious, like out of some fantasy novel!
Besides, I'm leaving this place in a much better state than I found it. Cindy and Gambino have split up because of that haunted-room debacle!
