Child essence
The pale blue moon, so round and full
pairs of bright eyes, the very flames of hell it holds
Growling in impatience, grinning at fear
"We're hungry we're hungry," all the people hear
They come for your children, when their in bed at night
stealing them from home, no one has seen this sight
A child is hiding, under her bed
As the creatures attacked her family, now their all dead
Not able to find what they were looking for, they leave with no sound
leaving the scared and scarred child, lying on the ground.
She was still breathing, for she was not seen
but some one approached her, like a dream
It was a person, weapon sheathed
he said he came from the other town, following rumors that crept
He gave her a hand, she took it slow
He took her with him, as the morning song flowed
You have lost your family, to them as I had too
come journey with me, I will take care of you
