Today I was sweeping up the leaves in front of my house when one of the leaves started peeping. I was so surprised, and the cat immediately pounced on it. I managed to wrestle it from his paws, and found that it was a little chick! Poor thing was cold and shivering, so I took it inside and gave it a warm little bath. I'll go to the market and get some chicky food tomorrow first thing. Luckily the cat and I managed to catch some bugs for the chick for today.
