Haha! I've finaly decided to post something. Its a poem I wrote little more than two minutes ago. While writing it, I was thinking about how when some people marry they don't know each other as well as they thought they did and end up hating each other. I have not been married nor do I plan to be any time soon so I did my best to put myself in this person's shoes. I love criticism and tips, so feel free to comment. biggrin
You look at me.
You look confused.
And there was a time when
I would look and see
An innocent face, with big blue eyes,
and a golden halo.
Hello, I know you now
I dont know how
I didnt see where this rivine had taken me
Down a waterfall with all of you're debris
I wanted it to work
Especially when you look at me and smirk.
I didnt want to see how you'd turned into such a jerk.
And what coud I do
When I found that we were no longer one, but two?
There was me and you.
And who would expect,
that I'd live to regret ,
that kiss and that smile
And "maybe if I wait a while".
I've seen, and looked in your eyes
Every day our flame dies.
There'll be no more "How's?" or "Why's"
Now I'll kiss you and say my goodbyes.
