I never imagined,
Feeling this way,
My pulse is rushing,
My head's spinning.
And I'm disoriented,
This way.
But I can't remember,
A time when energy,
Was so abound,
When my heart, my hands,
And my mind worked together,
To produce what I've become.
It's amazing,
That I'm tired.
But my heartbeat's going strong.
It's amazing,
That I'm frustrated,
But my laughter lives so long!
I am busy,
I don't have time,
If I stop to breathe,
I'm sure that I'd,
Watch and sigh,
As silently life passes me by.
I miss having my happiness,
The one with out the work.
I miss being relaxed,
But this is what,
My life,
Is now about!
Working hard is my mission,
Distinctions are my goals,
And in the process,
I'll learn a little,
About managing,
The time I hold.
And though fear is inevitable,
And my confidence,
Is lacking bold,
I am working on my behaviour,
I am enhancing,
My soul.
So forgive me,
If I don't stop,
To see what's become of your life.
Know that I'm still here,
And I miss you,
As life goes by...
Yes we are all busy,
With our separate lives,
But we never know,
That friendships,
Will always,
Intertwine .
And so in that spirit,
May we always find a way,
To meet in uttmost secrecy,
So that no one in the world knows.
That though our lives are busy...
We have not lost our souls.
