Chapter 6: Battle for the Oracle of Ice


Astral dashed in at high speed as slashed through the closest set of soldiers near Sana and appearing in front of her as he charged ice energy into his blade. “Frost Blade!!” Astral said as he slashed as sent a frozen shockwave at the soldiers freezing some. Kiro slashes sent forceful waves sending half the soldiers flying away, as soldiers fell; more took their place. “Damn, this is going to take forever…” Both Kiro and Astral thought to themselves. “Heaven Strike!” Astral said as he struck from the sky going down and took out a good portion of soldiers, Kiro dashed in slashing down one by one and returned by Sana’s side. “I got an idea.” Kiro said to himself as he might have figured out a pattern. “Astral, use your next attack on the masked man.” Kiro said as he wanted to experiment a theory. “Alright.” Astral said as he concentrated a large amount of ice energy through his blade. “Ice Wave!” Astral said as he striked the ground and slashed upwards sending an immense shockwave towards the man, the man snapped his fingers as soldiers barricaded him from the blow. “I see… I wonder.” Kiro said to himself planning out his theory bit by bit. “Astral try from a different angle.” Kiro said as his strategy worked in his mind. “Ice Wave!!” Astral said as he did it once more after appearing behind the masked man, once again the man signaled soldiers to barricade him again. “I think I got it.” “Astral once more!” “Ice Wave!!” Astral said sending another. Kiro saw an opening and dashed in and charged his left fist with fire energy. “Incinerating Flame!” Kiro said as he shot the flame at the man but the man jumped out of the way. “I get it now… if he was too busy blocking my attacks he left himself an opening.” Astral said finally catching on to Kiro’s plan as he did it once again and spins in a circle sending shockwaves in all directions, the man landed and deflected the wave coming at him.

Kiro jumped and appeared above the masked man. “Descending Blade!” Kiro said as he slashed downwards catching the masked man off guard and getting a decent strike on him. “you. . . are the first to ever strike at me and succeed…” The Masked Man said as his aura suddenly sky rocketed and was shrouded in flames of darkness. “This energy…” Kiro said to himself “NO MORE GAMES!!!!” the man said as he charged in at Kiro drawing his katana. “Shadow Blade!” he said as his katana was covered in darkness and struck Kiro dealing heavy damage “Dark Fury!!!” he said as he slashed at Kiro’s body repeatedly. “Raging Rush!” he said as his slashes grew five times faster and stronger. Kiro’s body was starting to look like a paper being shredded into millions of pieces as bits of his clothing flew all over the place and it rained blood as Kiro fell to the ground. “Now you die!” the man said as he impaled his katana into Kiro and summoned dark flame powers into his fists and started beating Kiro senseless. “YOU b*****d!!!” Astral said as he charged in and attempted to stop the man from killing Kiro but the man’s aura sent Astral flying. As Sana stood there wishing that there was a way for her to help she suddenly felt all that has happen rushed visions in her mind and felt an unknown rage and managed to summon little ice energy. The man stopped and sensed the immense surge of power from Sana but couldn’t block her attack in time as he got impaled by an enormous javelin as was sent flying into a mountain nearby. Sana rushed over to Kiro’s side and propped his head onto her lap and tried to remain calm as she couldn’t feel his pulse, she tried to summon more ice energy to attempt to heal his wounds and managed to summon a little amount and started to heal him for the inside out.

“Please don’t die… Please don’t die…” was all that ran through her mind as she looked down at Kiro’s seemingly lifeless body, for some reason she felt a sudden pain in her heart at the mere thought of his death and suddenly started crying silent tears that turned into more ice energy and fully healed him. After awhile the man freed himself from his binding as returned even more enraged and rushed in with his blade extended out ready to impale Sana when suddenly Astral stepped in and took the blow for her. “Astral!” Sana said as the tears continued to fall “I’m alright, this is nothing compared to my training.” Astral said as he started walked forward and getting farther and farther from Sana and Kiro. “Don’t worry about me…get Kiro as far away as you can and watch over him.” Astral said giving them the chance to escape. “Please come back alive.” Sana said as she managed to get Kiro onto his feet and left the area. “heh, no holding back now…” Astral said as he pulled the blade out of him and drew his out once more. “Let’s go you p***k.” Astral said as he charged in and got ready to fend off the man. “Shadow Blade!” “Frost Blade!” both said as their attacks cancelled out. “Dark Fury!” “Ice Wave!” once again the attacks cancelled out and left a thick sheet of ice. “Where is he?” the man said as he broke the ice. “Heaven’s Strike!” Astral said as he slashed downwards and struck the man when suddenly his sword glowed bright “could this be…” Astral said to himself as the man charged in. “Raging Rush!!!” “Secret Technique of the Ten Kisho Arts… Sword of Articia!!!” Astral said as he went into stance and evaded the man’s attack and struck him then slashed like crazy as ice particles forms from the force and speed of the attack and suddenly hailed down on the man freezing him in place. “And that’s game.” Astral said with a smirk on his face as he sheathed his blade.
