Of Nobody Hunters and Trying to Cure a Nobody
Se'rox

All Se'rox could remember, as she rubbed her head- trying to rub away a dull dizzy feeling- was that she and Zuchax III had found Rose's house. The pets were all there... and she heard that Rose had not returned yet. She was trying to figure out what to do from that point, as she and Zuchax III were walking the grounds, when they were ambushed. And that was the last thing she remembered.

She cursed herself, knowing that she had failed. She had failed both of them. Zuchax III had tried to draw attention to himself, she recalled faintly, and she was trying to fight Nobody hunters that suddenly thought she was under some kind of Nobody-transforming spell of his.

And that was days ago. Or was it?

Se'rox's mind felt foggy. The whole world around her felt foggy. Of course, that could be because of her environment.

The Nobody hunters had believed Zuchax III's ruse about her not being a Nobody. They had whisked her away, even though she had fought them. She threw mud at them, and they quickly figured out another way to get her to their destination. They made- with surprising quickness considering the mud that was flying- a large wooden box. Well, not that large. About three feet by four feet, and three feet high. They put her in it, and slid poles through the bottom, and carried her in it.

For the first time in a long time, Se'rox felt blind. She couldn't feel the vibrations well enough through the wooden box through the poles through the people to the ground, and could only really see the box and he poles. She was scared, especially when she blindly sought to gather earth with water, and found she could not summon any earth to make the mud. Water seemed plentiful, and she wondered if they were crossing some kind of swamp.

After a day or so, they finally stopped. It was a brief stop, and they seemed to carry her up some stairs, since gravity shifted diagonally. Finally, it seemed that the box was set down. She let out an angry growl when she realized they must have put the poles down on something else, not earth, since she still could not feel any images.

She heard mumblings- people whispering in each others' ears, thinking her hearing was not overcompensated for sight-loss as it was. She went pale, though she couldn't have known it.

They seemed to think that she was only part-Nobody. That Zuchax III had tried and started to change her, but that she was stuck somewhere in the process. They intended on trying to "cure" her. And suddenly she realized. The reason they had believed the ruse in the first place. The reason they were going to try. Her somebody was alive and well. She was... if not unique, then very rare. She was a Nobody, but not a normal Nobody. And they could tell she was not a normal Nobody.

That had been three days ago now. Three days, they told her when she asked. They could be lying. She couldn't tell. They kept her in the box most times, and kept her inside the solid stone castle the rest of the time. She could see when they let her out on those occasions- a much welcomed thing. But she despaired. The stone was secure, and the castle was not built with mortar or any kind of soft earth. The first time she was let out, she almost escaped. She used the dust and dirt on the floors along with the moist air to create mud. And she would have succeeded in her escape if someone hadn't managed to grab her arm and inject her with something. She collapsed almost immediately.

After that, they had kept the floors clean. She was only let out for the tests. They kept her drugged most of the time. And, most frustrating of all to Se'rox (though, she couldn't think clearly through the drugs to be more mad at the other things), they took all her clothes and belongings, and dressed her in a little bikini.

~
So, "three" days later, Se'rox found that the wood in her little box was becoming soft. It was from the forest, not this moist area, and the wood was starting to bend.

She carefully- since she realized she hadn't realized anything that clear in days- used her fingernail to scratch into the wood at the back of the box. She tried to remember all that she could about her captors, the box, the castle, and scratched it into the wooden wall at the back. It would be a day or so more before the wood might be soft enough to give under enough pressure, so she would have to wait.

Shortly thereafter, she felt the side of the box being opened again.

"C'mon, little girl. Doc's got somethin' for ya, again. Thinks this'll really help." the brute said, and picked her up out of the box. Her mind wandered. She didn't know when they had realized she was blind, but they had thought it was part of the transition she was "stuck" in, and they didn't want to hurt her, so they carried her places. Plus, she was easier to subdue that way.

Se'rox fought him, and beat against him as hard as she could. But she knew it was useless; she could "see" the other person in the room now, who followed the brute carrying her to the testing room. She could see the set of needles he had with him.

Se'rox prayed for the day to be moist, and over quickly.

Holy poo... That's some ******** up s**t.

ZuchaX III: Damn... If I had known they would do that... No, it was better than the alternative. They were... using something that would have made them mostly invisible to you.... Either way, Nice Bikini. ^_^;;

Yet with no Earth, she'll just.. errm... be forced to use that bikini as the designers intended. *snort*

ZuchaX III: *smacks Chazu upside the head*

*flicks Chazu in the nose*

Ya, well, if I were there, there wouldn't be a problem. There is never a lack of air to use... except in space. Which reminds me. Can we leave YET?
