"Man I've got to control my breathing, I don’t want them to hear me" says John. "Click" the noise of a snapping branch can be heard from the depths of the pale green bamboo behind John. "What was that?" says John as he turns around to see the Viet cong closing in on him "I've gota keep going" John thinks to him self "They got my whole crew, I can't believe it I can't get captured, the information I'm carrying is vital for the survival of the U.S. in this wretched war" John thinks to himself while clenching his knees and panting. "CHOP CHOP CHOP" John hears a strange noise in the distance and sees a dark green object coming towards him "I can't believe it, they've already sent a chopper" says John
But he doesn’t realize that the Viet Cong heard the helicopter too. Voices can be heard off in the distance of the jungle. "Damn their coming, I gotta hurry" John darts in the direction of the LZ winding his way through he struggled as he ran through the dense jungle foliage with the Viet cong close behind. John starts to hear gun shots from the Viet congs Ak-47's "oh s**t their shooting at me" with those words John starts to serpentine his way to the helicopter. "Almost there" says John only a few meters away from the helicopter. John clears the forest and is at the LZ. As he starts to get in the helicopter, a stray bullet from an Ak-47 ricochets and grazes his arm "that was close" John thinks to himself. John pulls himself in to the chopper "how did you know were I was?" says John "sir, it was the pilot for your helicopter he was unconscious and woke up after you left. He told us the coordinates for the wreck and we saw you running so we picked you up. "Well I'm just glad this is all over and I can't wait to get this information back to H.Q." Says John. "I'm going to call your pilot and see if he’s ok" "it doesn’t seem like he's picking up, and we lost the beacon for the helicopter, we have to go.
