I had to go there earlier this week with my mom to the airport. She went to Montreal to visit her sister. Eeeeerg, jealous!

She hasn't seen her in like 15 years though, so I'm not really all that jealous. I do want to see my cousins though. I haven't seen them since we were all little baby buttcracks.

Anyway yeah--Houston traffic is retarded. Houston is retarded, period. God I almost threw up from the smell of all the exhaust fumes. The life expectancy for anyone who lives in that area is probably cut in half. I swear.. forget people getting Cancer from second hand smoke. Cars, trucks and buses are the things that are ******** killing everyone. People who smoke in big cities are probably going to live longer than the non-smokers there, since they breathe in 75% of their oxygen through cigarette filters. NOJOKE.

Uggh.. I'm getting nauseated remembering. And it was sooo windy, so the car shaking on the way there wasn't much help.

But like.. are you kidding me? Everyone there is totally insane. There was this guy who kept weaving in and out of traffic switching between two lanes like he couldn't make up his mind. He wasn't even trying to get ahead of the other cars.. Just back and forth for seemingly no reason at all.

There were also these people standing on one of the walkways that go over the highway or whatever holding up huge signs saying that 911 was an inside job and stuff about Bush. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT? WHO. CARES.

ZOOOOMMMMGGGGG CONSPIRACY THEORIES. But yeah, as expected, my harcore Marine father went ape s**t over that one. He's 77 in May, so he's a real old salt. Some young Marine guy came up to him in the airport and said some nice stuff and thanked him for serving the country though, so that made him feel good and put him in a better mood. (Though the very next day some dumbass kid who worked at HEB refused to bag for him because he saw dad was wearing a Marine hat.. wtf, that makes no sense. Blame the government for whatever beef you have with wars and s**t, not the poor soldiers that have to go fight it. The soldiers aren't the ones who started the ******** wars.)

I've been recovering from that trip for the past two or three days.. I've only been to Houston a few times in the past 10 years, so I keep forgetting how calm and peaceful it is where I live compared to that madhouse. I mean, it's not like I live in the middle of nowhere, there are nearly 300 thousand people in the city I live in, but that's nothing compared to the 5.5 million of Houston.

We decided that we don't want to go back to Houston to pick up my mother, so since there's an airport in this city, we're buying her a plane ticket to go from there to here. I think my mom will be relieved. I doubt she will want to ride in a car for 4 hours after getting off the plane. xD
