I wonder why I didnt put this up sooner?? ~ Isabel had decided to wear her jean skirt, black leggings, black boots, and a graphic tee. (You pick) Of course, she wanted to look nice but not to the point where she might be trying to hard or being fake. She did her make up and put on her jewelry. Skyla was besides her doing the same. When she had heard about Isabel’s date, they squealed like little girls and jumped around in a circle while holding hands. They got weird looks from the other girls in the dorm at the time. However, once they found out, Isabel was afraid that she was going to wake up today missing an eyebrow or her head would be shaved or something horrible like that. Nevertheless, nothing like that had happened. The only thing that worried her was a strange feeling in her gut that was not cramps. But she didn’t know what it was so she just pushed it aside thinking it was the Drama Queen coming out in her. It could be excitement since she was going out on a date with The Draco Malfoy. Who knew what was going to happen? ~ Lynn rushed around the empty dormitory looking for her clothes. By the time she woke up they dorm was empting. She wondered angrily why no one waked her but she had no time to voice it. She threw on her half slut, half-presentable skirt with her ‘Rub My Tummy For Good Luck’ shirt. Lynn knew she didn’t match but it was the first clean thing she saw. Then she went to the bathroom to do her make up. She accidentally poked her eye with her brown eyeliner. Lynn took one look the mirror and decided it was good enough. As corny as it is, she didn’t feel like she had to look extremely pretty for Harry. She almost knew that she could have showed up in her PJs and Harry would still like her. Things just flowed with him. It was really nice. ~ Mae had been able to get a piggyback ride from Seamus down to Hogsmead. You wouldn’t have guessed but Seamus actually pretty strong. Mae guessed it’s from him being on the quidditch team. The only problem was that he kept trying to tickle her under her knee. Mae wasn’t ticklish there but it was still very weird to have him touch her. The only reason she was going to Hogsmead was that Hermione had begged. She worried that the magic would, for some reason, wear off and her hair was going to get frizzy and it would just be bad. So basically, Mae was playing secret hairdresser. Kind of like the secret spy game she plays with Lynn and Isabel. Fun game. So to make Hermione mad and impatient she took her time picking out her outfit. Lucky for her all of her clothes had just been washed and so now she had too many outfits to choose from. But truthfully she was pretty happy with the outfit she picked. Her wavy/curly hair was up in two high ponytails; her shirt was black and had a red plaid heart with glitter running up the side of it, her ONLY pair of caprices, which were a shade of army green, and her Roxy slip-ons. Not to mention a lot of jewelry. She couldn’t help herself. Seamus gave a little hop but it scared the be-jeezs out of Mae. “Alright time to get off the Seamus Express.” Seamus said has he stopped in front of a store. Mae hopped down and looked at the store they were entering. It was some from of candy shop; it had candy ropes hanging everywhere you looked. Giant rainbow suckers and the long twisty ones were on every counter. Jellybeans were in a huge bowl and chocolate was on the walls. It was absolutely, without a doubt, Heaven. ~ Isabel and Draco walked, hand and hand, through the small city called Hogsmead. Isabel’s cheeks were perry-winkle pink. They were constantly being stared at. Mostly women but there were a few men, looking at her. Some of them even looked at Draco. But none of it seemed to bother Draco. He stayed as cool and as gorgeous as ever. And if you looked close enough, like Isabel, it almost seemed like he was glowing. Weird child. “So where are we going?” asked Isabel quietly. “Somewhere,” Draco answered. He gave Isabel a sly grin and her heart did back flips. He was so evil. Soon enough they were in a fancy café Isabel couldn’t pronounce the name of even though she had taken French. Draco gave his name to the host and she led them to a table lit by candles. Isabel tried to hide her blush from Draco but he saw it anyways. “You like it?” he asked, his mouth close to her ear. “Uh-huh.” Isabel felt stupid for that being all she could say but it was freakin’ amazing. Then Draco pulled out her cushioned chair and after she sat, he went across the table and sat at his chair. This is truly amazing. ~ Surprising, Harry had waited for Lynn to come out of the castle. As they walked down the road to the town Lynn could almost feel Harry’s impatient. She wondered if it was because she was late. “Oh no,” he reassured, “I’m just a little nervous that you won’t like what I have planned so I’m kind of jumpy.” Relief spread across her body like wild fire. “Don’t be, I’m sure I’ll like it.” Harry gave her a smile and it seriously seemed to light up everything. Soon they reached the gate to Hogsmead but Harry stopped and wouldn’t move any farther. “Do you trust me?” Harry asked suddenly. The answer seemed obvious but she said yes anyways. “OK but to get to where we’re going we have to go through some woods. You OK with that?” Lynn wished she had worn pants but she took Harry’s hand and followed him into the dark woods behind some buildings. Harry kept looking over his shoulder to make sure Lynn hadn’t tripped over anything. While one hand was holding Harry’s hand, the other was keeping her skirt down. “I guess I should have said that you should have worn pants.” He joked but when Lynn looked at him he seemed troubled that he was causing her a hard time. “Oh don’t worry, I like a good challenged.” She reassured him. Soon they stopped and Harry went behind her and covered her eyes. He guided her until they came to another stop. “Keep them closed.” Harry said in her ear. She did and she could hear him moving around. Suddenly she felt the warm sun on her skin and she wondered if she had sunscreen in her purse so she wouldn’t get tan on this date. “Alright open them.” First she saw Harry standing in front of her but then he held out his hand and stepped aside. Then she saw a picnic sprawled out under a tree. But that’s not what got to Lynn the most. It was the location. They were in the woods and if you were to look up, all you would see is tall, thick trees with multi-colored leaf. Only some sun streamed in through the canopy of branches. It was magic only with out the magic. “You like?” Harry asked. “I love it,” She went over to the picnic blanket and sat down, leaning against one of the over grown roots. Lynn had to make sure that nothing was showing since she was in her half slut skirt. Harry sat next to her and snapped his fingers. Suddenly a house elf appeared in front of them looking happy as can be. “Do you need anything, Mr. Potter?” The house elf asked in his squeaking voice. “Yes I would like a butter beer.” Two pairs of eyes turned towards Lynn and she muttered that a Diet Coke, if possible, would be fine. The house elf smiled at them and as quick as he came he left. But no more the five seconds was he back again with what they ordered. “Thank you, Dobby.” Harry lifted his glass to the elf and once again ‘Dobby’ was gone again. “That’s Dobby; he works in the kitchen at Hogwarts. I asked him to butler today since he owes me big time.” “Awe well that’s nice.” Harry just shrugged but as he was drinking you could see his wide grin. ~ Mae twirled around with a candy necklace laced in between her fingers. Seamus was leading her to some bar but Mae could really care less for she had candy!! Hard candy, caramel candy, crunch candy, rainbow colored candy and so much more. It truly made her happy, she honestly couldn’t think of anything that could make her happier. Come on, she had CANDY!!! Suddenly Seamus pushed her into a crowded bar. There was like either a bunch of little groups of people or a few huge groups of people. Who knew but right now who cared? The place was playing music, there was a group of people who whated to party and, if Mae sees right, Becky and Luis were in the back corner. And whenever Becky and Mae were in a room together, something was bound to happen!! ~ Isabel was on cloud nine walking to the Three Broomsticks with Draco by her side. Things went really well on the date, and for once Isabel didn’t feel left out of the group because she didn’t have a boyfriend. Lynn and Mae had boyfriends back home and no one really liked Isabel before Draco came. Could any one blame her if she didn’t know what to do on a date? Nope, not one soul in the whole freakin’ country could. But that’s making it sound like on the date, she tripped and landed in the in the food. But no, she had been graceful-ish. She was still Isabel; she could never be completely graceful. Draco then took her arm and hooked hers with his own. A small blush crossed Isabel’s face but she was getting better at being sly about her blushing control. She was getting more comfortable around this sexy piece of a** candy. Soon they were standing in front of a wooden pub and a loud noise coming from all the closed doors and windows. It pulsed through the ground into their bodies. Draco got a confused look on his face that told Isabel that the pub was not usually this loud. They opened the door and here is what they saw. ~ Lynn and Harry walked slash skipped down the street. “So did you enjoy the date?” Harry asked as they went to a pub to meet up with everyone else. “I liked it, I really did.” Lynn took the bold move and laced her fingers between his. Harry smiled and leaned his forehead against hers. Lynn giggled and kissed him. A small blush crept over Harry’s face. It was so cute to see him blush. They were now walking towards the Three Broomsticks and when they walked in, there was a bunch of dancing people on the tables. Panic! at the Disco was blasting out of somewhere and guess who was right in the middle of it all? Guess who had a guy behind her and Becky in front? Yep. Mae. ~ (IMPORANT: Seamus is like Landels! Remember at his party where we were sitting on his lap? Yeah, Seamus is like that. Loyal to his girlfriend but when he’s single . . . yeah.) Mae let her body sway to Camisado. Becky’s hands were on her hips and Seamus arms were around them both. It was getting extremely hot and sweaty in between them but she could care less. She had had a couple of Jones soda fufu berry drink and there was good music playing. Suddenly there was someone pulling on her arm and she looked down to see Lynn with, oh-what’s-his-name? Peter? Piper? Potty? Potter! That was it! “Yeah?” “What are you doing?” Lynn asked over the loud music. “Dancing!” Becky answered. Lynn just laughed. “Where’s Isabel? Is she here?” “Yeah she came in with the gay dude.” Mae remembered Isabel walking in. All Isabel could do was laugh. Mae tried to think of where she went after that. “You mean the Malfoy dude?” “I still think he’s gay.” “Well he’s not. According to Bels.” “Whatever.” “So did you see where they went?” Mae just shrugged her shoulders. Lynn let out a “grr” sound and dragged Harry into the dancing crowd. “Hey I’m going to get a drink want anything?” Seamus asked in Mae’s ear. “Another fufu!” “Nah I’m going to find Luis!” shouted Becky, “He probably feels so left out right now.” “He never minded before!” Joked Mae. Becky grinned. It was a fact: Mae, Lynn and Isabel all got more action from Becky then her own boyfriend did. Seamus jumped off the table, and then helped Becky down, Mae watched as they went to the bar. She guessed she should have gotten down from the table but then Quitter by Autovein turned on. Then Mae couldn’t care if she was the only one on the table. ~ Isabel was drunk, no doubt about it. Jones soda had a dangerous effect on her. She was now more giggly and more loud (if that’s even possible) then her normal self. And considering the sitting position she was in, she wouldn’t be surprised if some called her an s-l-u-t. She was sitting on Draco’s lap in the back corner of the pub. Her legs were on one side and the rest of her body on the other. Draco had one arm wrapped around her waist and the others over her legs. Now mind you, Isabel was in a skirt. She had leggings on, but that is beside the point. There were a bunch people around, mostly from Slytherin. Isabel noticed that people flowed Draco. If he said something, they did it. It was quite cool. Draco pulled her even closer. And it was as if someone else had taken over Isabel’s body; a person who would do something that the other Isabel would never do. Like kiss Draco’s neck. Oh yeah. I know what you’re thinking: Oh no she didn’t. But oh yes she did. ~ Lynn and Harry weaved through the dancing crowd. She wasn’t sure on what she thought about how the pub owner was letting this go on. But back at the bar, she seemed to be enjoying it too. Oh well, her mess to clean up. She soon found out where Isabel was. On her date’s lap, kissing his neck. But hey it wasn’t like he wasn’t enjoying it. In fact he seemed somewhat smug about it. Especially in front of his entire housemates. Lynn marched right in front of everyone and grabbed Isabel off Draco’s lap. “Hey!” Draco shouted as Lynn dragged the drunken Isabel to the other side of the bar. “What the hell was that?” Lynn asked. “What the hell was what?” Isabel slurred. She put her hand to her forehead to try and stop the dizziness. Lynn watch as one of her best friends was getting drunk off an un-alcoholic drink. She was afraid to find out what would happen if they had whiskey or beer. “I’m going to take you back to Hogwarts.” Lynn grabbed Isabel’s arm and walked out off the building with Harry right behind them. “But wait, I have to go back to Draco! He’ll wonder where I went!!” The drunken girl whined. “Don’t worry I’m sure when he comes back, he’ll find you.” ~ Mae let all of problems slip away as the music took control. Most of it was just basically school and family relented. A little boy trouble but only a little. She closed her eyes and just listened and danced to Man Eater. Who knew that the British listened to Nelly Furtado? Suddenly an arm grabbed Mae off the table. She was then carried out of the Three Broomsticks and even then she didn’t open her eyes: she knew who it was. “What are you doing Troy? Put me down.” It wasn’t really a command. “Sorry but you were disgracing yourself.” Mae then opened her eyes and looked into his face. His jaw was set and his hair was covering his pretty blue eyes. His dark roots were getting more and more visible. Mae kept forgetting to ask why he dyed his hair in the first place. To make herself more comfortable, she wrapped her arms around his neck and sort of sat up in his arms. He fixed his arms around her legs and she noticed that his neck was a bit red. Once again, Mae closed her eyes and rested her head against his shoulder. “Where are you taking me?” she asked. “Back to Hogwarts. I saw your friends go up there so I thought that were I would go too. But I don’t know what I’ll do then.” “Wow, you without a plan. That’s a strange thing to see.” Mr. Blare just smiled. “I do believe you are the same way.” “And how would you know that?” “I’m just special I guess.” “I’d say.” Mae shifted her head on his shoulder. “Hey Mae,” Troy started but before he could finish Mae interrupted him. “Please Troy don’t start. Can’t you just be happy being friends?” Mae tried to hide the fact that she wanted to be with him. But she couldn’t and she knew that. But Troy just tightened his grip on her and started walking off towards the Forbidden Forest. “Troy what in the name . . .?” “Just shh and listen.” When they reached the edge of it, Troy set her down on her feet gently. Mae’s back was to a thick tree and Troy’s arms were keeping her there. She felt as his chest went up and down as he tried to keep his cool. “Just explain to me why. Just explain why you ‘just’ want to be friends. I don’t believe that you say no because you don’t like me. I know you like me; I can see it when you’re with me. So explain to me why you won’t still won’t have me. This cannot be what happened with Cho and that Lucas kid. If you were still pissed about that then you wouldn’t have talk to be that day in the library. So just explain to me what the ******** I’m doing wrong.” Mae looked away but she still couldn’t escape his gaze. The moment of truth. Mae was trying to keep control and not crack but every second he was with him, she felt like spilling everything. But she couldn’t. If she did, then he would think her weak, and Mae Suren was not weak. Usually she could care less on what people thought of her but she did care what her friends and family thought. And she found that she really cares what Troy thinks. Mae tried to swallow but her throat clogged up. Then she felt her eyes water and deep down she knew she wouldn’t last long. All it took was Troy’s thumb across her check to wipe away the rebellious tear that decided to go against Mae and slip down anyways. She grabbed his wrist and tried to push it away. “Just stop it, will ya?” Mae tried to laugh but it just came out in a pathetic sob, “Just stop acting like Jesus or something. O.K. it’s not freakin’ you, it’s me alright. I do like you, alright, I do. It’s just how do I know that I just don’t like liking you?” Mae put her hand to her own forehead in some way to make herself stop crying. “God I’m not making any sense. It’s just that I have been in a relationship where I thought I really like them but once I started dating him, it just died. I knew I was being a b***h towards him and I made him suffer by making it last longer then it should have. And I’ve seen it happen to friends too. You don’t really like dating them, you just like liking them. But after a week or so, you realize that life isn’t as romantic as it is in the books. So you think that maybe they aren’t for you and it’s always they who really like you so you know that you’re being the bad guy and you can’t stand it so they make it last longer then it should.” By now Mae was biting the inside of her check so that she wouldn’t cry any harder but it was just making her mouth her, which, of course, made her cry more so now she was just a blotchy mess and she hated it because it was all in front of Troy. She suspected that Troy would automatically think she was crazy and would avoid her for the rest of the year. But no that didn’t happen. Instead he gently grabbed her chin and turned her head towards him. He tilted her head up towards him and she noticed that it had begun to rain ever so lightly. But even cover by tree leaves, some rain still got on Troy and his hair now stuck to his face. Being wet made him look sexier then normal so it made it impossible to look away. “Mae I promise you I will never, ever hurt you like that. And I’ll try not to let you fall out of love with me. I give you my word, my hand, my heart, my soul. Now if that’s not one of the most romantic thing you ever heard then I fear that I am at a lost.” He smiled and bumped his forehead against hers. She couldn’t help but give a grin back. “Oh I’ve herd better.” “Like what?” “’You have bewitched me body and soul and I lov . . . I lov . . . love you. I never wish to be apart of you this day forward.’ Mr. Darcy said that to Elizabeth.” “O.K. but not many people can beat your Mr. Darcy.” “Tsk. What am I to do with you?” “I have no idea.” “I think I do.” Mae wrapped her arms around his neck and stood on her tip toes. She gently pressed her lips against his and the rest was done by him. But that, my friends, is to be stored away in my own imagination and to your confusion. But I will tell you that they soon heard Lynn, Isabel and Harry. They walked into the rain, holding hands.
