Such children, like the orphan school kids are encouraged to give life their best and a lot have gone on into a number of professional jobs… though those that want to go into manual labour jobs or just get married that’s fine too but they are encouraged to pick up hobbies on the side and develop whatever natural gifts they have.

Among the Von Karthaig and the Cell kids sex is disregard in the face of talent. It doesn’t matter if a girl has a natural talent as a labourer or troop leader or if a boy is disposed towards doll making or housework. They are encouraged to make the best of whatever talents they have. If they want to start a business their foster/ parents will sponsor in a similar way that Von Karthaig sponsors Orphan school kids who want to start/go into a business. Only they give their parents 10% of their business profits or take on younger sibs needing a job rather than trading service the way the Orphan kids can.

In exchange having their business financed, Orphan school kids need to give their 1st 5 years of labour or apprentice under Orphan school owned business’ and then they are free to go where they want and do what they want. They can also choose to defer and give Von Karthaig their 5 years once they’re set up… though if they don’t make good on it Von Karthaig will expect their heirs too.
Either by service or by choosing the 3rd option for a Von K. raised child. Such service can be split over all the children e.g. if there are 5 kids then they’ll give a year’s service each or the family can choose to give one child to serve Von Karthaig. Such a child usually finds acceptance serving Von K. though their siblings, if they were close can become resentful.
Such given children have holidays, which they can choose to spend with their family and they can return after their 5 years service or choose to stay on. They are fully expected to keep in contact with their family and are trained for whatever they are best suited for talent wise, whether or not it has anything to do with their family business.
The 3rd option is instead of giving years of service; Von Karthaig becomes a 10% silent partner in their business. Basically, this means Von K operatives under orders or the core family can stay there/eat there/ avail themselves to what ever service the business provides for free if they are in the area. Users of this service are expected to be polite/behave well etc as the business operators do have a right to complain and those who would abuse this trust WILL answer for it.

Such sponsored/fostered/adopted children are all on the Cell files for service as well, as genetic material donors. For this service, they receive free healing, as they need it. Most of such children enter Von Karthaig owned/operated or sponsored businesses and are content to do so.
