I’m coy and timid
And you seem the same
My heart skips a beat
When you say my name
A sound so sweet and stout
It’s never hardhearted
Oh, how I’ve missed you
Since we last departed
Our love will stay strong
We will meet again
Don’t worry now, my other half
It won’t be to long ‘till then
I look into your eyes with mine
Our hearts are near – and so divine
The love they showed was half suppressed
Until you smiled and spoke
Those splendor hazel pools
So beautiful – so striking
You say that you’re so ordinary
But I would have to contend
So coy and timid
With a love so new
You pulled me from darkness
My spirit revived
Like a cool, bright, spring morning
Flowers covered with dew
Brings that beautiful sereneness
Amid me and you
