Demon Days
All and everything that forms my life; from music, friends, books, writing, and some few extra info about me
Winged Revelation
“Ah! A fact I remember,” he said flexing his muscle and cracking his neck. “and for that you shall live today.” he said taking the knife off the commander skull, and cleaning it. His garments were very different from Bsano and Lark; a rust red armor splattered with blood, his gauntlets had failed nails, his face hidden behind a mountain of white hair, it too splattered with blood.

Lark had one look at Bsano’s injuries.

“We live today but, by sunset.” he said while getting Bsano to his feet and helping him move along. “You or I will die!” he said vanishing through thick trees.

Karlam looked around and clearly there was no one else besides him and Windvlaag, who all this time had remain quite and calm, flaming his wings in the same place.

“Call me radical, but I like a fight to the death to be memorable. So now winged-freak we fight!” Karlam ran to Windvlaag like feral child, fighting no better that a wild beast.

Windvlaag didn’t seemed to care for Karlam primitive fighting; who was clearly at a disadvantage. Karlam threw a furious swipe like enraged bear, it nearly hit Windvlaag who retaliated a with punch to Karlam face sending him flying.

He got up with extreme quickness, now boring an insane smile, his fang like-teeth were fully visible and his lunatic purple eyes shinned with bloodlust. “Another idiot that falls to Karlam the warrior exterminator!” shouted Karlam graving his right arm.

“Explain yourself filth, what means do you speak of defeating me?”
Joaquin nearly jumped at revelation. This was the first time, he heard the calm face Windvlaag speak a single word. However he not only jumped upon the next revelation but shouted, for not even Windvlaag was prepared for what came next.

In an instant Karlam grew a set of bat-like wings causing several part of his armor to crack as his wings span like newly born devil’s butterfly.

“What sort of abomination, is this that I witness?!” said Windvlaag breaking his calm attitude.

Karlam flew to face Windvlaag, who by his expression clearly had never fought an aerial battle before always with the advantage of been the only one able to fly.

Karlam gave a feral punch, he was no better then a berserker; throwing punches there and here, one of them hit Windvlaag over the face and connected with a kick to his chest.

“You…fight like tomorrow doesn’t exist…what drive you…monster?” he said while whipping the blood off his face.

“I fight because I detest all of you…I was not given power like you monsters.”
Joaquin had become so absorbed in the fight that he nearly missed the strange creature sneaking in to the fight, but from the looks of it the creature didn’t see him either.

Karlam had summoned a dust devil that somehow was becoming larger by the minute. Just then he spotted the creature sneaking up. It was covered in old bandages, making it resembled a mummy with crimson eyes.

“Perfect! Timing couldn’t had been better!” Karlam give a wild roar that frightened Joaquin out his mind and made Windvlaag pray to his god.

The sun was blackout be unseen force and all became darkness, only the shinning red eyes belonging to the mummy creature.

“Abomination hear me, I do no harm. I keep to myself, if I you keep to you’re self…do we have a deal?” said Windvlaag not knowing were he was flying do to the pitch darkness.

“Too late!” responded Karlam over the shouts of terror given by Windvlaag.

The darkness was creeping inside Joaquin’s head, he was thinking of his mother. Why had she never been there to hold him? Did she hate him? Was she a prostitute? Was she dead…was he going to die now?

Wow, it has been quite a while since I commented. O.O
It seems like there's a lot more focus on Joaquin's emotions, this time around.
That cliff-hanger at the end is a nice touch, too. mrgreen
