Into a Girl's Mind (Sakura's/Kairi's Diary)
Me: This is kind of like a fanfic. I guess... xd The story is sometimes going to be from first-person point of view, and sometimes it'll be third-person. Part of it will be from Kairi from Kingdom Hearts and part will be from Sakura Haruno from Naruto. heart

Sakura:

Sakura Haruno basked her face in the warmth of the sunlight streaming through the canopy of pink flowers above her. The cherry-blossom trees were blooming elegantly at this time of year, and an endless bounty of them lined the sidewalks of Konoha's park. The breath-taking scenery dazzled her emerald eyes as a cool, gentle breeze whipped softly through her strawberry-colored hair. How could anything be better than this? Any more peaceful than this?

For a moment, she was happy, but a pang of sorrow struck her suddenly, albeit not unexpectedly. She missed Sasuke and Naruto. She missed them a lot, she realized. Although Sasuke had returned to Konoha with his revenge achieved, he still remained cold and distant from most people, especially her. Now both of her teammates were on missions constantly together. The two made a great team. However, she always had to stay back and take care of Konoha's population and the ill now that Tsunade-sama had sacrificed her life for the village's safety.

Sighing, Sakura continued down the path as blossom petals drifted peacefully through the air around her. Everything seemed so pink. So surreal. Except one thing. It vitiated the tranquil illusion with its silverness and conspicuousness.

"Kakashi-sen... I mean... Hokage-sama?" Sakura said inquisitively toward the silver-haired man lying beneath one of the cherry-blossom trees with an opened Icha Icha book blanketing his face. He didn't reply. He's asleep, she thought, and began heading down the sidewalk again but then decided against it. She was lonely and bored and wanted to talk to someone. Anyone. Even if she had to kick them to wake them up. Besides, she hadn't seen her former sensei for quite a while. It wouldn't hurt to do some reminiscing on a calm day such as this, seeing as shinobi rarely and often never had time to do so. "Kaka -- Hokage-sama!" she hissed, nudging his rib with her foot. He grunted but remained asleep. "Hey! Aren't you supposed to be working?"

No reply. Irritated, Sakura lifted the oh-so familiar Icha Icha book off the slumbering ninja's face only to be met with that also oh-so familiar mask that was always seen concealing the lower-half of his countenance. A smirk replaced her annoyed expression. The last time she and the boys (Naruto and Sasuke) had attempted to remove their sensei's mask had been a long time ago. Now it was different. She knew that she could probably remove his mask by herself, especially with the advantage of him being unconscious.

Sakura reached for the cloth covering his face and ripped it off quicker than a viper striking its prey only to see the plain face of a phony human. A scarecrow.

"Ne, Sakura-chan? What in the world are you doing?" a low, throaty voice inquired innocently behind her. She didn't answer but deftly wheeled around and lashed out at him with a powerful fist. As anticipated, he dodged the attack and hastily stepped back, ready to dodge another punch, but she had not intended another, although she did feign one to his side. He managed to dodge that too, but what he didn't manage to escape was the sweep of her leg that knocked him off of his feet.

As he fell, she quickly struck him with two fingers at a certain pressure point on his body to keep him from easily springing back up. However, her former sensei suddenly vanished in a puff of smoke and was replaced by nothing but a rotting log. "Nice try, Sakura, but better luck next time. I have a lot of paperwork to do, so thanks for waking me up. Ja ne!" Kakashi said cheerfully from out of thin air and then silence fell over the area.

Sakura stood rooted to the spot for a moment a little disappointed. "Later, Kakashi-sensei," she whispered after a while. A single cherry blossom flower landed on top of her head from the branches above, and she pulled it out of her pink hair only to place it back in to adorn herself.

((I'll get to work on Kairi eventually. I hope. stressed ))
