C.J. is a consummate actor in that most of his psi talented, Dhampir/ Vampire/Mutant/ Gene A. extended family don’t realise his role as Grandma Ellie’s Spy/Assassin/ Weapon of Choice. He has managed to hide that he is her invisible, untraceable hand employed when more subtlety than the Hounds is needed or when she can’t appear to be involved. Most think he is just aunt Ellie’s personal delivery boy and that he was given that job out of pity.

(He was stunned when he found out that Sho had fallen pregnant. After his 20 odd years of training- started at age 2, he’d only been in service 3 years.
It is a difficult pregnancy and after her daughter is born, Sho falls ill. It takes her several years to recover (even with healer help) and as the heir to the School Kes is out and about, Sho allows her Hound brother’s prize student Laola to fill in for her, under her direction.
Angel takes on the responsibility of raising her son’s daughter who is a good deal like her paternal grandmother in nature. Her name is Reanna (Ren). There is some friction as like personalities clash but they get along well enough.
She has her father’s dark hair and type but her mother’s eyes and build. She also inherited her grandmother’s poise and natural grace as well. Her granddam finally got to raise a kindred spirit.
While Ren is quite a skilled fighter and her psi talents are nothing to sneeze at, her best and strongest talent is that of Finder. This ability allows her to locate literally anything… or anyone she is looking for, whether on behalf of someone else or not. When she grows up she joins Uncle Louie’s detective agency except for the fact that she is permanently ‘on call’ to Grandma Ellie whenever she’s needed. Some of her missions have even paired her with her dad whom she is very proud. She had a pretty good idea of his job even before being paired with him for the occasional job. Her mother didn’t give birth to no stupid children.)
