I totally woke up on the domestic side of the bed this morning.

After three months of begging, my boss finally gave me a weekend-day off. Now, growing up, Sundays meant French Toast for breakfast, so this morning, I woke up with a craving for french toast. I got out of bed, got dressed, fed the kitty, then headed to the store. I was really only going to buy bread and milk, but somehow ended up walking out with $50 worth of food.

Now, anyone who knows me at all, knows I don't cook. I'm really, really bad at it. But the gods of hearth and home smiled upon me, and not only did I make truly delicious french toast, I also made crispy bacon and sliced up strawberries. It was amazing. I considered bring Jeff breakfast in bed, but we lacked trays, so I settled for clearing the coffee table and arranging things nicely. And afterwards, I remembered to clean up!

Now, I shall use this domestic momentum to best advantage. here is the to do list for the rest of the day:
-Shower
-Laundry
-Straighten
-Vacuum
-trash
-litterbox
-clean out fridge

I may even scrub the floor while I'm at it!
