Doomed from Day One - A lover stoy I wrote. |

I saw him there... A werewolf, if you will. One who stole my heart, and kept an eye out for me. He knew I was a vampire, and that he was out to stop and kill me, but he didn't care. He loved me, I loved him.
His name was Damian. Damian and Blithe. Werewolf and Vampire. Destined enimies, and yet cursed lovers. Damian caressed me in his arms, kissed me tenderly, allowed me to drink his blood.
"I love you..." I whispered in his ear.
"I need you." he whispered back.
So close... Yet so far. I think.
"I must hunt now." I said bitterly, as I left the comforting circle of his arms out into the cold, cruel night world.
Humans walked the streets un-knowly around me. How clueless they are, I noted. I took a few back roads, and finally stopped at the sight of an un-knowing man. Mid-twenties no doupt.
I walked slowly towards him, and greet him with sharpened fangs, and lightning reflexes.
"Dead so soon?" I asked the lifeless body.
I walked around waiting for my love to return from her hunt. Another human dead, I can sense. She must be on her way back now. I need to feel her with me, at all times. In my arms, close to my body. Her skin is so cold always. I think as I walked towards her house. The smell of dead, rotting corpses surrounds her home.
I am used to it by now. I turn into a wolf, and walk around, being sure no one is around.
"Hello, Love." she sings to me.
"I missed you." I growl.
She nods, and walks over to me. She had blood on her chest. I licked it off, and she smiled. I loved her smiles. They were pleasant. She walked inside, and beconed for me to fallow. I did so proudly.
I walked in the house, and Damian fallows. He is so sexy.
"I missed you as well." I pur.
"Not half as much as you can imagine I missed you." He is human again. Sitting next to me. We know that we cannot die. We also know that we must stop being with one an other. I must kill him, or he must kill me. We both know it like we have been told hundreds of times.
He pulled me closer to his warm body, and then held me there as if he were to let go, I'd be taken away from him forever.
I pulled her closer to me to protect her from what was coming. More wolves. Intent on dining on us, and torturing us to the fullest extent.
They'll kill us... I realized saddly, at least we'll die together, arm in arm, hand in hand. She shivered, and I held on tighter.
They attacked, and got ahold of her. We held on tighter, and she screamed. I kicked one of the new beasts across the room, and pulled her onto my lap.
"If we die... we'll die together." I gasped as if the words burned mt tongue.
"I'll never let you go!" she cries to me, and clings to my jacket.
We hold tighter, "I knew this day would come..." I cried.
She looked at me, sadly, painfully and kissed me, "I love you Damian..." she winced.
"I love you too, Blithe." I whisper to her gently. Her leg is bleeding rapidly, I let her drink my blood, she won't, "You'll die too." she tried to stay stong, but instead, I am holding her lifeless body in my arms. I squeezed it, and shook it, hoping to bring her back. No such luck. They've killed her.
Wolves came, too many to count. I clung tighter to Damian, listened to him say my name. I was attacked by one. He kicked it away, and pulled me closer, held me tighter.
"Till the end of eturnity, I will love you." I cried as the blood drained from my body. He offered his blood, but I could not take it.
"One of us has to live on!"
"No.. Blithe... I can't go on without you!" he was crying.
"We..." I winced as tears of blood run down my cheeks, "were doomed from day one." I used my last breath.
He shook my lifeless corpse, then hugged it tightly.
"We were doomed from day one..." she gasps.
"No... no no no no no Blithe!! Thats not true." but it was too late, shes already gone.
