FAQS on Tsuki Kumori (sort of)
Let's begin with a simple question - why is your name Tsuki Kumori?
- Well, it began in 7th grade, where I had a Japanese book. My friends and I were looking through it, and we just began to pick names from it. I chose "Tsuki" because I felt close to the moon. Later on in the year, I looked up the word for "shadow", and that became my last name.
Do you have any siblings?
- Yeah, I have a little brother. His name's Alex, and he's cool, but kind of annoying.
What are your hobbies?
- I enjoy anime and manga (though I call those "lifestyles", thank you ^_^), writing, reading, and the computer. Not much else, I'm afraid.
Now here comes the question - WHY DO YOU LIKE GAY COUPLES SO MUCH?!
- Why? Now that's a funny question. Why not? Heh, honestly I don't really know. It's popular among female otaku, yes, but maybe there's a hidden meaning. Sometimes I think because my heart's been hurt by so many boys, I lost my faith in hetero pairings. But between two guys, love can blossom in my eyes. Yaoi turns me on...why, I can't really think of any other reason than that.
So, are you gay?
- Not "gay", per se. I'm having a bit of trouble determining my sexuality. I thought I was straight all my life, then bi for a little bit, but now I think I'm straight again. Argh!
Do you even like any hetero pairings?
- Yeah, of course! I like May/Drew [Pokemon], Kyou/Kagura [Fruits Basket], Diego/Mia [Phoenix Wright], and others.
Did you just say "Kyou/Kagura"?! Ewww...Kyou gets together with Tohru!
- *sigh* I KNOW they marry at the end of the manga, and all that stuff. But I can't help sympathizing with Kagura, for I've been in the same situation dozens of times. So, I support the ship.
Do you like Kyou/Tohru too?
- Yes, I do. I liked it before I was broken into a thousand times of pieces, so...I still have to like it, I guess. It's cute, and so obvious, yet I can't bring myself to love it anymore. Not after I lost my faith in those "fall in love, be together forever" fantasies.
What are your favorite gay pairings?
- ^_^ I love Matt/Mello [Death Note], Phoenix/Edgeworth [Phoenix Wright], Klavier/Apollo [Phoenix Wright], L/Light [Death Note], Yuki/Hatsuharu [Fruits Basket], Kyou/Yuki [Fruits Basket], and many, many others.
